Dutchmen RV Receives the 2010 Coleman Licensee of the Year Award

By: On: Wednesday August 3 2011

Dutchmen RV has recently received the 2010 Coleman Licensee of the Year Award.

“On behalf of the Coleman Company, it is my honor to present Dutchmen with the 2010 Coleman Licensee of the Year Award,” says Jason McClintock, Sr., Director, Licencing –The Coleman Company.”It is extremely unusual for a company to receive this prestigious award, just after their first full year of receiving the Coleman license. It’s through hard work and dedication like yours that has placed the Coleman brand in a position of strength over its 111 year history.

“The red logo is as much yours as it is ours and we hope that through the continued partnership we can continue to give consumers quality products they can trust. Thank you for all you do to keep this brand strong. Dutchmen has much to be proud of and a lot to celebrate. Congratulations!”

“The Dutchmen team is proud and honored to receive this great award,” says Dutchman RV President, Don Clark. “Coleman and Dutchmen share similar philosophies with regard to strong reputations and tireless commitment of serving our customers. We look forward to our continued partnership and the success of the Coleman Travel Trailer – Fifth Wheel product line.

“This award is very meaningful, coming on the heels of Dutchmen receiving the Dealer Satisfaction Index Award during the last RVDA convention. Our dealers’ increased confidence and support of Dutchmen is both appreciated and humbling.”

I purchased a 2014 Coleman trailer new from Camping World in Burlington WA. It had deep scuffing on one of the recliners, and the other one had a stain in the material that looked like it came from the time of mfg. When Camping World submitted it Dutchman refused to stand behind it and would not replace them. Plus the water supply line to the toilet leaked, both the sink drains in the bath and kitchen leaked. Plus the surround in the shower leaked. Camping World worked on all this, but couldn’t do anything about the chairs. I feel Dutchman is in too much of a hurry to build and get there units out and their quality control has suffered. As much as I paid for this trailer they should have replaced both recliners. I have been pretty disappointed with Dutchman.
