Winnebago Minnie Pink

Winnebago has added a bright pink Minnie to its product lineup in support of breast cancer awareness. A $1,000 donation will be made to the American Cancer Society for every pink Minnie sold.

“We feel very strongly about supporting the fight against breast cancer,” says Winnebago Towables President Johnny Hernandez. “This disease primarily affects women, and these women are our grandmothers, mothers, wives, daughters, sisters, granddaughters, and aunts, which means this disease impacts virtually all of our lives.”

2015 Thor Class C Motorhome

Thor Motor Coach is shipping its 2015 motorhomes to North American dealers.

“We’re excited to introduce the new 2015 line-up,” says Joel Grimm, Gas Division National Sales Manager at Thor Motor Coach. “We have integrated even more practical features this year. Not only did these ideas come from our employees, it came from our dealers and current TMC motorhome owners.”

Prime Time Manufacturing, in partnership with Tredit Tire and Wheel, is providing its customers with two new benefit programs.

Tredit, the exclusive provider of tires to Prime Time Manufacturing, is now offering the new Tredit Care Plus Emergency Roadside Service program as an added benefit when purchasing a Prime Time RV.

Winnebago Travato

Winnebago has put the finishing touches on the first Travato Class B motorhome, which was completed at the assembly facility in Lake Mills, Iowa.

As announced in November 2013, Winnebago expanded manufacturing for the Company’s Winnebago Touring Coach (Class B) motorhomes to a new Lake Mills Assembly Facility. The Company celebrated the completion of the first Travato rolling off the line today.

Thor Motor Coach

More retail customers in the United States and North America bought a Thor Motor Coach than any other motorhome brand in 2013, according to data collected by Statistical Surveys. In fact, the report says that Thor Motor Coach’s motorhomes made up more than 23% of the US marketplace in 2013.

Prime Time Avenger

Prime Time Manufacturing saw huge gains in retail sales and market share for 2013, the young company’s fourth year building towable recreational vehicles.

Final 2013 numbers from Statistical Surveys show that Prime Time’s travel trailer brands increased total retail sales by 47% and Prime Time’s fifth wheel brands increased total retail sales by 62%. Prime Time also says its market share increased by more than 30% for 2013.

Holiday Rambler Traveler

Allied Specialty Vehicles has closed the doors of its Elkhart, Ind. Monaco RV plant. According to IndyStar.com, 85 permanent employees are affected by the closure.

The plant had produced the R-Vision and Holiday Rambler towable RV models.

Winnebago has agreed to become the North American supplier of motorized rental units for Apollo Motorhome Holidays in the United States.

Apollo has agreed to purchase Winnebago motorhomes to provide travel and vacation experiences for its customers within the U.S.

2014 Winnebago Trend

Winnebago, according to Statistical Surveys, Inc., was the top selling motorhome brand for 2013. Statistical Surveys, Inc. is a retail reporting service based out of Grand Rapids, Mich.

“We are very proud of the continued success of Winnebago in the marketplace and we continue to develop innovative, quality products to promote this iconic American brand,” says Winnebago Industries Vice President of Sales and Product Management Scott Degnan. “We have launched a great motorhome lineup this year, with several brand new, innovative products just entering the marketplace. We believe our new Trend, Viva!, Forza, Solei, and Travato now entering the market will bring us additional incremental growth in the coming year.
