Forest River Wildcat

(Press Release) The Wildcat division of Elkhart, Ind., based Forest River, Inc., is pleased to announce the introduction of an all-new travel trailer targeting the high-volume, mid-price laminated trailer market.

“Following up on the success of our fifth wheel redesign last fall, we’ve hit another home run with our travel trailer launch,” said Chris Saal, Wildcat Sales Manager.  “Our dealers were very specific with what they wanted this trailer to be.  That included an emphasis on exterior and interior styling, an emphasis on functional floorplans, and an aggressive price point,” he said.

2016 Forest River Wildcat

Forest River has unveiled its completely redesigned Wildcat fifth wheel. Forest River says it is targeting the high-volume, mid-price fifth wheel segment with the new Wildcat.

“For over a decade, Wildcat has been one of Forest River’s flagship brands and it’s been wildly successful with retail customers. However, our dealers have consistently asked us to make the product lighter and more affordable so that we can be even more competitive,” says Chris Saal, Wildcat sales manager. “The new Wildcat accomplishes that goal! Now, more than ever, Wildcat has the right floorplans, the right look, and the right price to compete with any fifth wheel in its class.”

rime Time Crusader Fifth Wheel

Forest River‘s Prime Time brand saw a massive sales spike in February, 2013 – up 55% compared to February, 2012. So impressive were sales that Forest River says Prime Time was the second best selling combined travel trailer and fifth wheel in the United States that month.

“Prime Time is very thankful and appreciative of the tremendous support given to us by our dealers,” says Jeff Rank, president of Prime Time Manufacturing. “We made some bold commitments early on about who we wanted to be as a company and dealers embraced our innovative business model. Over the last three years, the strong partnerships we’ve forged are obviously now paying huge dividends for us and our dealers.”

lacrosse-lg0907Rapidly expanding Prime Time Manufacturing has announced a consumer incentive program for the upcoming fall season. The program, called Prime Time’s “Reason To Buy” Touring Edition, is available on all 2011 model LaCrosse and Tracer Executive Series travel trailers produced between September 1, 2010, and November 30, 2010.

Prime Time vice-president of sales, Chris Hermon, says the program is a proactive approach to addressing the traditional slow-down in retail sales that occurs after the Labor Day weekend.

“The Reason To Buy Touring Edition offers consumers up to $3,900 of free upgrades not normally available on LaCrosse and Tracer,” says Hermon. “It’s simple; we want to give customers a reason to buy now and this impressive list of luxury features will offer a limited time opportunity to save thousands of dollars.”

The program announcement represents a significant turning point for the young manufacturer.

crusader-lg0806Prime Time Manufacturing has expanded its product offering with the introduction of the company’s first fifth wheel, the mid-priced Crusader.  Full production of the new Crusader started in June and Prime Time officials recently delivered the first production model to General RV, in Wixom, Mich.

Loren Baidas, president of General RV, and several members of the dealership’s management and sales team were presented with the 2011 Crusader 270RET fifth wheel by Prime Time president Jeff Rank and Chris Hermon, Prime Time’s VP of sales.

Features on the Crusader include the Super Turn front cap, Slam Latch pass thru baggage doors, Quiet Cool ducted return air conditioning, and solid cherry hardwood cabinet doors and drawers. Additional upgrades include solid surface countertops, an RCA Soundwave entertainment system, bumper-mounted swing arm grill, hitch cover, and 42-inch LCD with electric lift.

“We’ve loaded Crusader with features not normally found on a mid-profile fifth wheel and priced it very aggressively to deliver more value,” says Hermon.

Base MSRP of the new Crusader fifth wheel is $29,500. For more information, visit PrimeTimeRV.com.
