Without further ado, here’s a look at what’s new for model year 2017.


The new A.C.E comes with a new Brazilian Cherry wood option, which gets its name from its natural cherry color. A cool new Arctic Frost Interior is an additional interior option. Further interior updates encompass the vinyl floor, countertops, wall board colors and border trim. Up to 12 new features updates have been incorporated, including blank tank flush for all floor plans, vent covers on attic fans, and handy LED bed overhead reading lights. Six options on current A.C.E motorhomes are now standard on the 2017 model.

2016 Chateau Super-C Class C Motorhome

Thor Motor Coach is showing off its new luxury Class C motorhomes – the Quantum on the Ford E-450 chassis and the Super C lineup under Four Winds and Chateau on the F550 chassis.

TMC outfitted the Quantum and Super C models with high-end amenities. In the kitchen you’ll find solid surface countertops, which are heat resistant and easy to clean. As well, a standard tile backsplash is designed to look nice while it protects your walls from food splatter. Another nice touch is Amish handcrafted solid hardwood cabinetry with a high-gloss glaze.

2015 Thor Class C Motorhome

Thor Motor Coach is shipping its 2015 motorhomes to North American dealers.

“We’re excited to introduce the new 2015 line-up,” says Joel Grimm, Gas Division National Sales Manager at Thor Motor Coach. “We have integrated even more practical features this year. Not only did these ideas come from our employees, it came from our dealers and current TMC motorhome owners.”

Chateau 35SK Class C

Thor Motor Coach is expanding its lineup of Class C diesel motorhomes with its new 35SK Super C.

According to Thor, the 35SK Super C RV creates a lounging area at the center of the coach. The TV cabinet is located straight across from an ample sofa and dinette configuration. A slideout expands that sofa/dinette area creating an entertaining hub. For the high-tech aficionados, a cab-over home theater entertainment center with 50-inch, big-screen, LCD TV and sound bar can be optioned in the cab-over, replacing the standard 32-inch LCD TV.

Four Winds Super C 33SW ExteriorThor Motor Coach has unveiled two new 33SW F550 Super C motorhomes, available in both the Four Winds and Chateau brands.

Sporting a Ford F-550 chassis, the 33SW motorhomes have a GVWR topping out at 19,500-lbs. Power comes from a PowerStroke 6.7L diesel engine providing 300 hp and a whopping 660 ft-lbs of torque.

“That powerful combination, along with the Ford 6-speed transmission, allows the 33SW to maximize the 10,000-lb. trailer hitch,” Thor says in a release.

Thor Super C 33SW FloorplanEvery 33SW Super C comes with a 5.5 Onan generator with automatic start, dual 13.5K roof air conditioners, slam latch baggage doors, one-touch Bigfoot leveling jacks, and a fully molded one-piece front cap.

Thor-lg0325Thor Motor Coach recently released three new floorplans to its dealer network – the Tuscany 42FK, Challenger 37KT, and Four Winds 28Z.

According to Thor, these new floorplans feature increased exterior storage, expandable L-shaped sofas, a feeling of “residential openness”, expansive bathrooms, centrally located televisions and modern kitchen work-spaces.

“We have applied the same focus on how owners actually use their coaches as we did during the development of the successful A.C.E. on all new product development including our latest floor plans,” says Bill Fenech, Thor Motor Coach’s president and CEO. “These already popular, exciting new floor plan designs are destined to be winners.”
