Though the economy is still in recovery mode, the super rich still need their play things. Austria’s Marchi Mobile is trying to provide just that with its outrageous new motorhome – the $3 million Marchi eleMMent Palazzo.

One look at the Marchi eleMMent and its bizarre circular windshield and you’ll see it looks unlike any other motorhome or RV anywhere. From the outside it looks like a cross between a yacht, a motorhome and a spacecraft. If you want to get noticed, the eleMMent will certainly get you that in spades.

Of course, you can’t own the eleMMent just yet. It’s still a concept, but if you and enough of your multi-millionaire buddies show some interest we suspect this opulent attention-getter will be produced.

Redwood RV has introduced its new 36FL floor plan, which includes innovative and unique features in the front living room designed to better meet the needs of the full-time consumer.

“The 36FL is uniquely Redwood,” says Tom Montague, general manager for Redwood. “We’ve taken one the best and made it better.”

The 36FL kitchen has been expanded by moving the slide-out to the off door side and adding the industry’s largest moveable dinette table capable of accommodating six adults. Also, the entertainment center has been moved directly across from the living room chairs for more comfortable TV viewing. Additionally, the entry way is made larger and enhanced with a grand staircase and two hand rails. Other improvements include an 80-inch sofa, pull-out desk, and fireplace. Redwood has also optioned a sliding patio door for customers who stay in one area for extended periods of time.

redwood-lg1124Don Emahiser, president of Redwood RV, has announced that Redwood RV is officially opened for business. After forming in July, Redwood RV has a production line full and five floor plans already designed.

“This has been nothing short of a gargantuan effort by everyone involved with Redwood,” says Emahiser. “There are about 30 heroes of mine who pulled this off, and it has been incredible to watch them work together for this common goal.”

He singled out the efforts of Ray Patterson and Dan Kreider, engineer and V.P. of manufacturing, respectively, noting how they “dove right in and made it happen.”

Tom Montague, Redwood national sales manager, noted that they originally hoped to take one prototype to the Louisville Show and now will have three floor plans in the display, including one with what he calls the “most head-turning full body paint job seen in a long time.”

“We are open for business, happy to be here, and hope that our dealer partners have as much fun as we have thus far,” says Emahiser.

Redwood RV will be located in booth 1101 at RVIA Show in Louisville, Ky.

tracer-lg1007Prime Time Manufacturing has expanded its product offering with the introduction of the all new Tracer Micro Series travel trailer targeted toward mini van and small crossover tow vehicles. Industry insiders got their first look at the new Tracer Micro during the just completed Forest River dealer open house in Elkhart, Ind.

“The thinking behind the new Micro is simple,” according to Jeff Rank, president for the Wakarusa, Ind. based manufacturer. “Prime Time wanted a travel trailer that can easily be towed by a mini van with 3,500 lbs of towing capacity. Unfortunately, most of the units in this weight range really compromise livability and function. With Micro we’ve combined great looks, the right features, and many of today’s lightweight composite materials to create a perfect balance between weight, price, features, and eye appeal.”
