Thor Motor Coach has introduced its new Miramar Class A motorhomes, featuring full basement.
“It is exciting to bring to the market these new premium gas Class A Motor Homes,” says Joel Grimm, national sales manager for gas motorhomes. “Many consumers are looking for luxury accommodations in 32-36 ft. models and this new Miramar really delivers.”

Winnebago Industries will debut the all-new 2014 SunnyBrook Raven fifth wheel at the upcoming Dealer Open House event September 17-19, 2013.
Available in three floorplans; the new Raven mid-profile fifth wheel features a clay colored (dark tan) gel coat exterior with a painted two tone cap. Frameless windows, keyless entry, unobstructed storage area, slam latch luggage doors, and a color coordinated roof are all standard features on the new Raven. KZRV has added the new Spree Connect lightweight travel trailer to its current product offering. The newest edition to the Spree product line, the Spree Connect, comes in eleven variations designed for easy towing.
The Spree Connect floorplans range from 22-35 feet in length and weigh 4,000-7,000 pounds. The Spree Connect starting MSRP is around $22,900 nicely appointed.

Prime Time Manufacturing recently shipped its 10,000th travel trailer produced by its Tracer/LaCrosse manufacturing group.
To celebrate the occasion, company leaders were on hand to serve lunch and thank over 160 employees for their efforts.
“Division 48 was the very first Prime Time plant we started in 2009,” says Jeff Rank, president. “That small group of employees had a commitment to build innovative, high quality products that customers would love to own. Thor Motor Coach has unveiled 2014 Tuscany XTE and Tuscany Diesel Motorhomes, each with a brand new look. Fresh front and rear caps, along with new exterior paint packages highlight can be found throughout the Tuscany line for 2014.
According to Thor, the Tuscany XTE’s new front cap is engineered to maximize visibility for both driver and passenger. Thor says the front entry door is the widest in the industry.
New elongated residential tile floor, tiled kitchen backsplash, and LG Hi-Macs solid surface countertops round out the Tuscany XTE’s interior. If you are looking for a sign that the economy is on the upswing, the Recreation Vehicle Industry Association (RVIA) has announced that motorhome shipments have jumped more than 30% this year through May, while travel trailers are up 11%.
All told the RV Industry shipped a total of 144,015 units over the first five months of 2013 – a 13% gain. Towable RV shipments reached 128,037 through May, compared to the 115,204 shipped in the same time period last year. Motorhome shipments are up to 15,978 units, versus 12,250 through May 2012. Winnebago showed off its new Itasca Solei motorhome in front of hundreds of RVers at the Family Motor Coach Association’s (FCMA) Gillette 2013 Family Reunion in Gillette, Wyo. this past weekend.
The all-new Solei features a Freightliner XCS straight-rail chassis featuring a 340-hp Cummins diesel engine coupled with a six-speed Allison transmission. Inside, the Solei is outfitted with polished Corian galley countertops, coffee glazed cabinetry, LED ceiling lights and upscale entertainment features. Things are looking sunny for the RV industry – at least according to a report given during the Recreational Vehicle Association’s Committee Week 2013, which ran from June 2-6, 2013.
Dr. Richard Curtin, director of the Consumer Research Center at the University of Michigan, provided the initial outlook for RV wholesale shipments in 2014 on June 3.
According to Curtin’s report, RV shipments to dealers are expected to climb 8.4 percent in 2013 and 3.9 percent in 2014. To put this in perspective, Curtin’s report speculates that 310 thousand units will ship in 2013, followed by 322 thousand in 2014. A total of 286 thousand units were shipped to dealers in 2012.
