Winnebago Travato

Winnebago Industries, Inc. is planning to expand its manufacturing footprint to nearby Lake Mills, Iowa.

Winnebago and the city of Lake Mills have come to an agreement on the five-year lease of the 100,000-square-foot plant formerly owned and operated by Cummins Filtration. Venture Sonic

Venture RV, a division of KZRV, has been seeing an increased demand in its products and has opened a new facility to keep up.

“We had an exceptional show with both the SportTrek lightweight travel trailer and the all new Sonic ultra-lightweight travel trailer,” says Dave Boggs, director of sales and marketing. “The dealers liked what we had to offer and responded with orders. The manufacturing facility recently started production of Venture RV’s newest addition, the Sonic Ultra-lightweight trailer. Winnebago Industries has updated its Sightseer and Sunova Class A lines for 2014 with four floorplans.

This year, LED ceiling lights bring energy efficiency to a coach that already features Corian galley countertops, MCD solar/blackout roller shades and Ultraleather cab seats. Winnebago Trend at Hershey RV Show

Winnebago Industries’ new Trend motorhome made its debut last week at the Hershey RV Show in Hershey, Pa.

“We had phenomenal interest in the new Winnebago Trend Class C motorhome introduced at Hershey,” says Winnebago Industries Vice President of Sales and Product Management Scott Degnan. “Though small in size, this motorhome made a huge impact at its first retail show. While I was on site at the show, we had a continuous line of people waiting to take their first look at the new Trend, and their response to the vehicle’s unique features was overwhelmingly positive. Venture Snoic Exterior

Venture RV will be displaying its new line of Sonic ultra-lightweight travel trailers September 16-19, 2013 at the fall open house in Elkhart, Ind.

“We will have 13 units in Elkhart, including our newest product innovation, the Sonic,” says Dave Boggs, director of marketing and sales. “The Sonic weighs between 2,950 to 4,500 pounds and range from 20-25 feet in length. The segment we are targeting is the minivan and small SUV market. The Sonic features many standards not found in the ultra-lightweight market like, interior LED lighting, convection microwave, Champaign color infused fiberglass exterior (including the roof) and CD/DVD/MP3 with Bluetooth. Winnebago Ultralite 27RBDS

Winnebago Industries, Inc. has debuted its new Winnebago Ultralite at America’s Largest RV Show in Hershey, Pa.

The all-new Winnebago Ultralite 27RBDS is outfitted with a queen bed with a luxury memory foam mattress, roomy wardrobe, double shower, solid-surface countertops, large pantry and energy-efficient LED lighting. Winnebago says the aerodynamic shape and enclosed underbelly provide exceptional “wind-slip,” reducing drag and increasing fuel economy, while the Stable-Track axle is designed to smooth out the ride and reduce sway caused by crosswinds or passing traffic. Chateau 35SK Class C

Thor Motor Coach is expanding its lineup of Class C diesel motorhomes with its new 35SK Super C.

According to Thor, the 35SK Super C RV creates a lounging area at the center of the coach. The TV cabinet is located straight across from an ample sofa and dinette configuration. A slideout expands that sofa/dinette area creating an entertaining hub. For the high-tech aficionados, a cab-over home theater entertainment center with 50-inch, big-screen, LCD TV and sound bar can be optioned in the cab-over, replacing the standard 32-inch LCD TV. 2014 Winnebago Journey Interior

Winnebago Industries has unveiled its 2014 Winnebago Journey and Itasca Meridian product lines. Each model features Corian solid-surface countertops and backsplashes, coffee-glazed hardwood cabinetry and Ultraleather furniture.

2014 Winnebago Adventurer Exterior

The 2014 Winnebago Adventurer and Itasca Suncruiser are available in four floorplans, including the new triple slideout 38Q with multiple HDTVs and a front lounge with sectional sofa.

As Winnebago Industries’ flagship Class A gas coach, these are feature-rich motorhomes. Ultraleather furniture, MCD solar/blackout roller shades, and LED lighting are all standard. A restyled front cap, full-body paint, and available Contour windows help complete the package.

2014 Thor Miramar Class A Motorhome

Thor Motor Coach has introduced its new Miramar Class A motorhomes, featuring full basement.

“It is exciting to bring to the market these new premium gas Class A Motor Homes,” says Joel Grimm, national sales manager for gas motorhomes. “Many consumers are looking for luxury accommodations in 32-36 ft. models and this new Miramar really delivers.”
