Evergreen I-Go Bunkhouse

EverGreen RV has expanded its line of I-GO models with two new bunkhouse floorplans: the G240DBD (Double Bunk with Dinette) and G291DBS (Double Bunk with Slide).

The G240DBD features an open layout with a large, single slide that opens across from the kitchen area. The large slide houses a 90-inch U-shaped dinette and an optional 32-inch flat screen TV. Winnebago Towables has announced plans to expand its operations in Middlebury, Ind., creating up to 150 new jobs by 2019.

The company, which is a subsidiary of Forest City, Iowa-based Winnebago Industries, Inc. invested approximately $5.4 million in April to purchase four facilities in Middlebury that cover 277,330 square feet on its 31-acre campus, which was previously leased. The company plans to grow production at the facilities and also invest nearly $250,000 in equipment over the next few years to meet growing demand for the company’s line of Winnebago towable recreational vehicles (RVs). Thor Motor Coach has added new floorplans and convenience features to its motorized Outlaw toy hauler family.

A new 37RB adds a second slideout with a permanent Denver Mattress queen size bed. Winnebago Outdoor Adventure Race

Winnebago Outdoor, the brand tasked with celebrating the Winnebago RV lifestyle, is the title sponsor of the Winnebago Outdoor Adventure Race.

The race is scheduled for June 6 and features canoe, bike and run portions. Participants will complete a 7 mile canoe or kayak race on the Winnebago River, bike 12 miles in a loop through Pilot Knob State Park and finish with a 5K race along the Hynes Spur Trail in Forest City, Iowa.
