2016 Venture RV SportTrek Touring Edition

Airstream Pendleton Limited Edition Awning

Airstream and Pendleton Woolen Mills are teaming up to build 100 limited edition trailers to celebrate 100 years of the National Park Service.

Good Sam RV Travel Guide

Anybody looking to take their RV on a trip this year would be wise to pick up a copy of 2016 Good Sam RV Travel & Savings Guide, which is the 50th anniversary of the publication.

The guide is actually a 1,736-page book and lists 12,498 RV parks, public campgrounds and services. Included are 111 RV Good Sam Parks that earned perfect, 10/10/10 marks. As well members receive a 10% discount at the more than 2,100 Good Sam Parks listed in the guide.

Good Sam representatives inspect each park listed in the book. The parks are awarded from 1-10 points in three categories: facilities, cleanliness and appearance.

In addition to the information on RV parks, the guide also includes more than $1,500 worth of coupons for Camping World.

“Also included in the guide are trip ideas and helpful information about rules and regulations on the road,” Good Sam says in a release. “Winter travelers will get planning tips by reading the Snowbird Destinations section; the Fun, Families & Camping section offers advice for traveling with the whole brood; and RV Trips of a Lifetime will help you scratch off items on your travel bucket list. The locations of Good Sam Parks are marked with red icons on the guide’s full-color maps of every state and province.”

The 2016 Good Sam RV Travel & Savings Guide is available at the 115 Camping World SuperCenters located throughout the United States and on Campingworld.com.

The board of directors of the RV/MH Heritage Foundation (Foundation) has announced the honorees who will be inducted into the RV/MH Hall of Fame (Hall) in August as the Class of 2016.

“Congratulations to the ten new honorees. All of them have had or are having outstanding careers and are richly deserving of this high honor,” said Foundation President Darryl Searer.
