Winnebago Minnie

(Press Release) Winnebago travel trailers and fifth wheels experienced rapid growth in March retail registrations when compared to the same month last year, according to the latest report from Statistical Surveys, Inc. (SSI).

According to SSI, Winnebago achieved a 59.42 percent increase in retail registrations of conventional travel trailers and fifth wheels for the month of March when compared to the same time frame last year. This resulted in a 42.45 percent increase in market share over March 2015.

Winnebago Minnie 2500RL Exterior

(Press Release) Winnebago has released the 2500RL floorplan for its Minnie line of travel trailers.

The new Minnie 2500RL features an open living space, master bedroom and an easily accessed bathroom. At 27’11” long, the 2500RL has one slide housing the dinette and a large open space in the living area. Within the living space there is a jack knife sofa, galley kitchen and opposing dinette slide. In addition, the TV is positioned conveniently in the living area to allow for viewing from the dinette or sofa.

“The 2500RL is a functional and versatile trailer,” Winnebago Towables Director of Marketing Mark Gerber said. “It is a wonderful couple’s trailer with the option of accommodating overnight guests with easy conversion of the dinette and sofa into beds.”

Adding to the unit’s functionality is a complete galley featuring standard items such as a large Dometic refrigerator, microwave, three-burner stove top, oven and ventilated range hood. In addition, the galley offers ample counter space and a stainless steel sink.

Moving to the front of the unit, the master bedroom has a queen bed and wardrobe along with storage space above the bed and a conveniently placed light for night-time reading. Adjacent to the master bedroom is a spacious private bathroom with two doors for entry from either the bedroom or living space.

Vinyl flooring is used throughout the trailer for added convenience and easy cleaning.

Winnebago Travato Red

According to Statistical Surveys, Inc., Winnebago was the top selling Class B manufacturer in 2015 with 33.9% market share. That is up from 22.5% of the market in 2014.

Winnebago is taking the on-line experience for RV consumers to the next level with WinnVision. WinnVision is a virtual reality imaging and display technology that, according to Winnebago, gives RV buyers access to navigable on-line tours of its products.

Winnebago Destination

Winnebago Towables has increased its market share in both travel trailer and fifth wheel sales for the month of August and the first eight months of the calendar year, according to a report from Statistical Surveys, Inc (SSI).

SSI reports that Winnebago travel trailer and fifth wheel retail registrations rose 30.2% through the first eight months of the year and 53% for the month of August. The industry as a while also saw growth with a 16.6% increase through the year and 9.6% in August.

Winnebago Era

Winnebago Industries, Inc. plans to bring a lineup of 2016 motorhomes and towables to “America’s Largest RV Show.”

Running Sept. 16-20 at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania, the show will feature more than 50 Winnebago and Winnebago Touring Coach motorhomes and a full lineup of Winnebago travel trailers, fifth wheels and toy haulers. Every motorhome and towable product on display will be available for tours with select diesel motorhomes available to test drive.

Winnebago Towables plans to host an Open House showcasing its lineup of 2016 products on Sept. 22-24 at its facility in Middlebury, Ind.

Visitors will be able to check out everything in the Winnebago Towables lineup, including fifth wheels (Destination, Latitude and Voyage), travel trailers (Ultralight, Minnie and Micro Minnie), and toy haulers (Spyder and Scorpion).
