Some vacations are short and relaxing, while others are long and adventurous. Whether your family enjoys weekend escapes to national parks or extended road trips across the country, the 2013 Holiday Rambler Vacationer is a perfect substitute for home, sweet home.

2013 Holiday Rambler Vacationer Interior

Four Vacationer floorplans are to choose from – 30SFS, 32WBD, 34SBD, 36SBT. We'd be exploring the second smallest member of the Vacationer, the 32WBD. Its layout utilizes space efficiently and we like the pull out station in the kitchen. The Vacationer has a gross vehicle weight rating of 18,000 lbs and a gross combined weight rating of 23,000 lbs. Its overall length is 33’5” and its overall height is 12’3”. As well, it has an interior height of 80.5”, interior width of 96”, and exterior width of 100.5”. Its front gross axle weight rating is 7,000 lbs and its rear gross axle weight rating is 12,000 lbs. For water, the Vacationer has a gray tank capacity of 40 gallons, black tank capacity of 40 gallons, and fresh tank capacity of 60 gallons. Finally, the Vacationer 32WBD has a fuel tank capacity of 80 gallons.

The 2013 Vacationer is built on an 18,000-pound Ford chassis with a 6.8L Triton V-10 gasoline engine. It comes with a 12V chassis battery and a battery boost start switch as a backup. Its laminated sidewall construction features high gloss fiberglass, while the laminated structure floor has high-density block foam insulation. The Vacationer’s rear molded fiberglass cap has large auto style taillights. Other features include a metal fuel door with lock, fiberglass fenders, and fog lights. For extra storage, Holiday Rambler has included a one-piece polyethylene pass-through storage compartment. A peaked, one-piece, fiberglass roof shelters the interior from rain, snow, sleet, and anything else that may fall from the sky.

Long drives can be tiring, especially when impatient kids continuously ask the dreaded question, “Are we there yet?” Luckily, the Vacationer has an entertainment system that will distract the family from long days on the road. It features a 32” LCD TV in the living room with cable TV and satellite dish prep. You have an option of upgrading to a Surround Sound home theatre system with a DVD Player. Watch your favourite movies from the comfy leatherette hide-a-bed sofa. The carpeted floors and soft-touch padded vinyl ceiling create a warm atmosphere and you’ll probably forget that you’re in a vehicle cruising at 60 mph.

Home cooked meals are easily executed in the roomy kitchen. Store vegetables in the double-door refrigerator and cook them on the high-output three-burner cooktop. You can even throw a pie in the oven and hone your baking skills. If you’re a TV dinner-type, heat your gourmet Hungry Man meal in the 30” Spacesaver Microwave Oven There’s a non-power roof vent in the kitchen, but if you plan on doing lots of cooking you should probably request a 12V Fantastic Vent. You can vamp up your kitchen by requesting accent panel inserts for your fridge and an icemaker. Other kitchen options include satin nickel cabinet door pulls, heavy duty ball bearing drawer guides, accent wall paneling, and solid surface kitchen countertops and sink covers. For extra chopping room, you can even install a pullout station.

2013 Holiday Rambler Vacationer Bedroom

When it’s time to recharge, escape to your bedroom. The Queen bed has an innerspring mattress and a bedspread with a reverse sham. Holiday Rambler didn’t forget about the decorative pillows, either. A television cabinet holds an optional Sharp 19" LCD TV for late night movie lovers. Nightstands are found on both sides of the bed, which is accented a hardwood headboard. Bedroom windows are finished with mini blinds with valances and lambrequins, making your bedroom feel more like a cute cottage in the woods rather than a motorhome.

In the bathroom you'll find a rectangular shower with a glass door, equipped with a showerhead, hose, and polished chrome bath faucet. A china toilet bowl and stainless steel bath lavatory bowl complete the simple but functional bathroom.

This will help set the mood for family picnics and romantic stargazing date nights.
