2014 Keystone Summerland Review
A travel trailer with 10 floorplans to choose from
With ten floorplans to choose from, we will explore the newest addition – the 2020QB. It has a shipping weight of 4,345 lbs, carrying capacity of 2,155 lbs, and hitch weight of 515 lbs. For measurements, the Summerland 2020QB has a length of 24’10” and a height of 10’6”. As well, the Summerland has a fresh water capacity of 55 gallons, wastewater capacity of 34 gallons, and gray water capacity of 42 gallons. Finally, the LPG capacity is 40 gallons.
Built on a powder coated I-beam frame, Summerland features R-7 insulation on its floor, roof and walls – 16 inches on the center sidewalls and another 16 inches on the center raised roof truss system. The floors are built with 12” OC and 5/8th floor decking. All models come with four stabilizer jacks and models with slides – this doesn’t include the 2020QB – come with a spread axle. An E-Z open entry step helps bring you inside.

Walking in, you’ll find yourself in the kitchen. Decorated with warm colors and wood cabinetry, you’ll feel right at home while preparing meals. Keystone gives you four décor options: Cordovan, Morel, Sandstone, and Redwood. The wallpaper border gives the space a comfy ambience and the window above the high impact acrylic sink gives you a nice view. Family cooks will appreciate the spice rack, located below the sink. All drawers have steel ball bearing drawer guides, giving you easy access to forks and spoons. The 18” oven is equipped with a three-burner cooktop, along with a vented range hood that comes with a light. Leftovers can be stored in the 7 cu. ft. 110V/LP refrigerator and reheated in the residential microwave. Lastly, the Summerland 2020QB comes with a pantry; perfect for storing cereal boxes, condiments, and even electronics (when you travel, you have to improvise).
When dinner’s ready, seat your family at the dinette. With a large window beside the seating arrangement, you can enjoy your beautiful view while digging into your food. If your view is of a barren parking lot, close the blinds and turn on the radio, instead. The Summerland features an entertainment center that includes AM/FM radio with Bluetooth, along with Cable and Satellite prep. If you like to bring your entertainment outside, family barbeques can have a soundtrack thanks to the two exterior speakers.

After a day of adventuring in the wild outdoors, you’ll probably need a shower. If you’re mucky from a long hike, rinse off with the exterior shower, provided under Summerland’s Summer Package. Then you can walk inside and take a proper shower in the bathroom. The Summer Package also provides you with tub surround. For your other bathroom needs, there’s a porcelain foot flush toilet, which sits beside the small sink. Above the sink hangs a medicine cabinet with an attached mirror. For extra storage, there’s a cabinet below the sink and a space to keep your towels. Although small, the bathroom delivers the necessities in style.
When you’re ready to crash, take a walk to your bedroom. With two windows soaking in sunlight, you might have to close the blinds during the day. The overhead compartment is attached to two wardrobes, creating a beautiful wooden statement piece in the bedroom. Collapse on your Queen bed and wake up when your battery is fully charged.

Last but not least, let’s talk about safety. The Keystone Summerland 2020QB is equipped with the necessary technology to keep you safe and worry-free. The travel trailer comes with LP, smoke, and CO detectors. It features an emergency brake-away switch and safety chains. In case of a fire, there’s a fire extinguisher handy.
The 2014 Keystone Summerland 2020QB sells for around $17,000. For more information visit: http://www.keystonerv.com/.
