Leisure Travel Vans’ Wonder brings a refreshingly different vibe to the Class C Motorhome market with its clean, modern aesthetic and clever use of space and design.

The Wonder is brand new to the LTV line-up and has a single floorplan, the W24MB. It has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of 10,360 lbs and can tow up to 3000 lbs. It’s compact size – less than 25’ long and 8’ wide, and just shy of 10’ high – make it easy to drive, maneuver, park, and store. Its fresh water tank has a capacity of 34 gallons, its gray water tank can hold 28 gallons, and the black water tank can hold 37 gallons.

Built on a Ford Transit 350 HD cab chassis, the Wonder is powered by a 3.2L I-5 turbo diesel engine, giving you 185 hp and 350 lb-ft. of torque. The Wonder’s exterior body has aluminum framed, vacuum bonded, and insulated floor, roof and walls, fiberglass vacuum-bonded walls and roof, and integrated front and rear fiberglass caps.  Dual wheels at the back add extra stability to your drive and the integrated back-up camera conveniently has its monitor right in the rearview mirror.

Five coats of paint in a simple silver and graphite design adorn the motorhome body which, along with its curved walls, contoured doors, and frameless glass windows, give the Wonder a stylish, modern feel.

The 12’ by 7’ power awning has LED lighting and built-in legs that slide out and set up easily, either vertically to the ground or to the side of the motorhome for added stability on windier days. LED lights on the motorhome entrance handle as well as above the coach entry doors are a helpful feature at night.

Despite its compact size, the Wonder is not short on space. The tall, rear exterior storage compartment is incredibly roomy and can fit a couple sets of golf clubs, fishing rods, or lawn chairs. It also has built-in shelves and roping to keep everything in its place. There is also another wider storage compartment on the exterior driver’s side.

Stepping inside the Wonder is a treat for design enthusiasts and a real departure from typical RV interiors. Clean lines, a minimalist aesthetic, walnut colored cabinetry and white, push open handle-free doors give the Wonder interior a definite mid-century modern vibe. The simple, pattern-free surfaces give the Wonder’s interior a sense of openness and make it appear much larger than it actually is.

The matte white surfaces aren’t just scratch-resistant and anti-fingerprint; their smooth, anti-bacterial surfaces and push-open action also make it a breeze to clean.

It’s an interior that has the power to transform, quite literally. The theater-style seats that face the entertainment center double as dining chairs when they face each other across the dinette. The entertainment center, which features a 28” LED television, Bluetooth sound bar, and Blu-ray player, flips up easily from its hiding spot inside the credenza.

Then, when it’s time to hit the sack, the Murphy bed is a cinch to flip down, turning the dining and living area into a full Queen-sized bed.  The transformation takes seconds and there is no need to move pillows, tables, or chairs out of the way. You can even strap down your bedding so that it’s ready when you are every night.  A padded backrest allows you to sit in bed comfortably with a book or to watch television. The landscape transom window above the bed gives you a starlight view and also opens up awning-style to let in some fresh air. There’s also a nice big skylight that you can open right up, or slide a screen across to keep the mosquitos at bay.

You’re spoiled for storage inside the Wonder, with every conceivable bit of space being used – stacked shelves beside the bed, overhead above the coach area, in and above the credenza unit, plus lots of hang-up wardrobe cabinet space, too.

All of the kitchen appliances - the microwave, fridge and freezer - are hidden behind the cabinetry’s smooth contemporary lines to maintain the motorhome’s uncluttered visual. The kitchen countertop has a two-burner spark-ignition stove and a nice wide picture window, the bottom portion of which opens up awning-style. A deep stainless steel sink with cover and plenty of drawer space help pack a lot of kitchen into this small space.

Integrated and dimmable ceiling and floor LED lighting allows you to adjust the brightness and moodinside the motorhome. The Ford Sync 3 Infotainment and GPS navigation system, with available SiriusXM satellite radio and a 6.5” touchscreen display, has hands-free dialing and voice recognition so you can find the nearest golf course or gas station even while you’re behind the wheel.

The bathroom is a fully equipped three-piece: there’s a stand-up shower with skylight, a vanity with an oversized mirror, a foot flush toilet, open shelving, a medicine cabinet as well as a deeper shelf for towels or larger items, a sink, and an outlet for your small bathroom appliances.
