The 2017 Palomino Puma is a highly customizable destination trailer meant to make your short and long getaways relaxing and enjoyable. With lots of great standard options, it also has a wide range of add-on features that really allow you to create a destination trailer that’s perfectly suited for you and your family’s year round weekends getaways.

Eight Palomino Puma floorplans are available to choose from. We’re exploring the two-bedroom 38DBS.

It has a Gross Vehicle Weight Rating of 11,522 lbs and a cargo carrying capacity of 1,783 lbs. It has a fresh water capacity of 100 gallons, 70 gallons of gray water, and 70 gallons of black water. It measures 11’ 9” tall, 8’ wide, and just under 42’ long.

The Puma is weather ready: the rubber roof comes with a reassuring 12-year warranty, along with rain gutters with large drop spouts. The trailer is pre-wired for a solar system, too, so you can take advantage of the sun’s energy. Pass-through baggage and storage compartments will keep larger items out of your way.

A 21’ power awning gives you plenty of room for outside living, and options like an outdoor kitchen, grill, and speakers means the cooks can hang out with everyone else outside.

Plenty more standard features can be found in the Puma 38DBS, as well as great optional add-ons inside so you can customize it to suit your family’s needs. There’s 6.5’ of ceiling height and large windows to let in lots of natural light and allow you to keep an eye on the action outside. A 35,000 BTU furnace, in-floor ducted heat, and a ducted air-conditioner give the trailer year-round liveability, and two private bedrooms.

The bathroom has shower and a wood vanity and medicine cabinet with mirror. It’s is right across from the sliding patio door entry so you don’t have to trek through the trailer for a quick pit stop. Options in here include a skylight.

Get some sleep in the master bedroom, to the right when you enter through the patio door. Here you'll find a California king sized bed, mirrored wardrobes and overhead cabinets above the bed. Use the closet as-is or take advantage of the washer/dryer prep.

The Puma 38DBS galley is nicely equipped inside. The family chefs will feel right at home with the 24” four-burner residential range with pull-out broiler pan, a full-size 16-cubic-foot refrigerator with an ice maker, a peninsula counter that allows more than one person to work at once,  a gooseneck faucet with a pull-out sprayer, and optional microwave. A spice rack, divided silverware drawer, and built-in knife rack keep everything right where you need it. There’s also a good-sized pantry with shelving.

Two comfortable push-back recliner chairs face the kitchen area, right beside the roomy U-shaped dinette, which converts into more sleeping space. If you prefer, you can opt for a pedestal dining table with four chairs (pictured).

For music and entertainment, the Bluetooth FM/CD/DVD sound bar with internal subwoofer lets you play music from your tablet or smartphone. There’s also a TV antenna with booster and cable hookup, and optional 32” LED television. If you want to boost the cozy factor, opt for the fireplace with textured tile.

The second bedroom is at the other end of the trailer. It has a Queen-size bed, a dresser with lots of drawer space, and a wardrobe with mirrored doors, and more storage above the bed. This bedroom also has TV hook-up, it’s own half bath, and the trailer’s second entry/exit door.
