Small, lightweight travel trailer great for short getaways

The 2018 Lance 1575 makes the most of its small size thanks to its large slide. It sleeps up to four, which makes it a great option for a small family, and couples. Its low profile and lightweight construction also make it a great option for shorter getaways.

It measures 20í5Ē long, 9í9Ē high, and is just under 85Ē wide. It has a gross vehicle weight rating of 3700 lbs, gross dry weight 2775 lbs, hitch dry weight 245 lbs, and cargo carrying capacity of 945 lbs. The fresh water tank holds 26 gallons, while the gray water tank also holds 26 gallons and the black water tanks hold 25 gallons.

Lance built the 1575 with an aerodynamic front with a curved window and it features aluminum-framed sidewalls, floor, and ceiling, plus fiberglass bonded with Azdel substrate. This combination makes for a lightweight, strong, and easy-to-tow structure. It come standard with manual tongue and stabilizer jacks, or you can opt for an electric version.

A large slide-out plastic container is located in the pass-through storage, which makes it easy to access your items from both sides of the trailer. An exterior wash station and optional power awning will help you get the most of your outdoor fun, while the outside speakers (Bluetooth enabled) connect to the trailerís AM/FM/DVD stereo.

Inside, youíll notice what a difference the Lance 1575ís large slide makes to the trailer. It allows for a roomy U-shaped dinette Ė an unusual feature in a compact travel trailer. It can seat a crowd so itís not only a place for your meals, but itís also a great hang-out area. At night, the table can be dropped down and the space converts into sleeping space for up to two adults. There are storage areas under the benches, two small corner cabinets above, and a longer narrow space under the slide.

In the kitchen area you'll find a two-door, five-cubic-foot refrigerator with freezer. Though there isnít an expansive amount of countertop and prep space, the sink cover and cooktop cover do create a good amount of usable space. The deep, round-bowl sink has a faucet with pull-out sprayer, stainless steel flush-mount three-burner cooktop with cover, oven, stainless steel range hood with a light and fan. The overhead cabinet has a smooth, curved door and interior LED lighting.

For some privacy, the trailerís bathroom closes off with a space-saving sliding door. Inside, the shower has a shallow tub perfect for bathing small children and pets, a plastic toilet with foot flush, and a mirrored medicine cabinet. A skylight/vent above the shower allows natural light in and helps release moisture out.

The queen-size bed is tucked in at the back of the trailer. Windows on all three sides allow for cross-breezes and a comfortable night sleep.  At the foot of the bed, thereís a 12V television, which means that you can run it off your battery or generator even if you donít have shore power.

The Lance 1575 starts at about $28,000. For more information, visit http://www.lancecamper.com/.
