When you're ready to hit the road and start a new adventure, you want a travel trailer that's got your back. You want an RV that you can count on when the going gets tough (and you really want to get going). Luckily, there's the 2011 Skyline Aljo Joey Select Travel Trailer that's ready to follow you everywhere you go, whether it's the interstate or off the beaten path.

Allowing you to travel in comfort and style, the Aljo Joey Select is offered in 11 different floorplans. We'll be taking a look at the popular 204 model, the second smallest plan in the series. It measures in with a length of 23'4", a width of 8', an exterior height 10'1", and an interior height of 6'6". The 204 sleeps four comfortably, which makes it an ideal travel trailer for families on the go. It has a hitch weight of 400 lbs, a dry weight of 3,150 lbs, a gross weight of 5,600 lbs and a cargo weight of 2,300 lbs.

By combining quality construction and safety features, Skyline has designed a family-friendly RV that will stand up to the tests of time and the open road. From its steel frame I-beam chassis to enclosed underbelly containing tanks, this travel trailer is tough and ready to be put through the paces.

For its chassis, the Aljo Joey Select uses a cambered steel frame with steel outriggers, and for added safety, comes with electric brakes at all of its wheels as well as safety chains and a breakaway safety switch. You'll also find black rotocast wheel wells and a battery rack.

Its durable, seamless one-piece rubber roof comes with a 12-year manufacturer's limited warranty, is U.V. ray resistant and provides a complete, watertight seal. Since it's tapered, the roof promotes water runoff, as does its awning drip rail. To make life easier, the Aljo Joey Select is pre-wired and framed for a roof air conditioner. As for the floor construction, it features 5/8" tongue and groove floor decking and a tightly sealed woven polyethylene underbelly.

Just a few of these features include 120 V to 12 V power converter, two 20 lb. propane tanks with changeover, holding tanks with a drain outlet, a rear bumper with sewer hose carrier, a 6 gallon gas/DSI water heater and a water heater bypass. For travel all year long, it keeps things comfortable with a 25,000 BTU ducted furnace and a 13.5 BTU roof ducted air conditioner with wall thermostat.

Making sure you and your family stay safe, this travel trailer comes with a host of safety features. An LP gas leak detector, smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector will make it a lot easier to sleep at night, as will a fire extinguisher, flush door latch and dead bolt lock.
