If youíre an RV enthusiast who appreciates a finer way of travelling, youíll want to take the 2011 Winnebago Adventurer Class A Motorhome out for a test drive. A compelling coach, the Adventurer maximizes your living space and offers you many of the comforts of home on the road.

This motorhome comes in three spacious floorplans, all of which incorporate a full-wall slide so you can maximize your living space. Since we donít have time to go through all of them, weíll be concentrating our efforts on the 32H, the smallest plan in the series. The 32H measures in with a length of 32'10", an exterior height of 12'9", an exterior width of 8'5.5", an interior height of 7' and an interior width of 8'0.5Ē.

Built using Winnebagoís SuperStructure construction process, the Adventurer features a solid framework, and steel and aluminum substructures and components.  Backed by a 10-year limited parts-and-labor roof skin warranty, its crowned, one-piece fiberglass roof stands up to the harshest elements, as fiberglass offers superior strength and durability that never streaks or degrades. Surrounding the Adventurer are durable, lightweight Thermo-Panel sidewalls that combine fiberglass, high density block-foam insulation and an inner wall surface with aluminum support structures. Adding safety and stability are metal substructures that secure cabinets and appliances. Finally, turning it into a cohesive unit are specially engineered interlocking joints that connect the floor, sidewalls and roof, while an electro deposition coating helps protect critical steel components.

Boasting a Ford F53 22,000-lb. chassis, this RV is powered by a 362-hp 6.8L V10 SEFI Triton engine. Making it a breeze to handle are TorqShift 5-speed automatic overdrive transmission with tow haul, HydroMax brakes with ABS, and a 175-amp. alternator. Add in a trailer hitch with a 5,000-lb. drawbar and 500-lb. maximum vertical tongue weight with 7-pin connector, stylized aluminum wheels and HWH hydraulic leveling jacks, and youíve got a whole new level of convenience.

You want to be comfortable no matter where you end up... and the Adventurer has kept that in mind. Thatís why it comes with systems that are designed to keep you living the high life. Youíre in control of the 5,500-watt Cummins Onan generator, which has the energy command automatic generator start/stop system. The generatorís controls are located in the OnePlace systems center (the command center of all of the key componentsí switches and gauges).

Also guaranteeing your comfort is its TrueAir Maximum Comfort AC system. Using next-generation technology, the Adventurerís two high-efficiency, low-profile roof-mount cooling units offer superb cooling power, while its D-shaped formed ductwork optimizes airflow. For precision cooling, the TrueAir comes equipped with a dual-zone thermostat that offers precision cooling and adjustable ceiling vents.

Put those interior decorating skills to good use. The Adventurer gives you the option of three fabric collections - Granite Cliff with Sandbox UltraLeather, Castleton with Marsh UltraLeather and Hawthorne with Putty UltraLeather Ė thatís perfectly complemented with four cabinet wood finishes, each with satin nickel hardware.

Get behind the wheel of the Adventurer and youíll know what it feels like to be in total control. The driverís seat features a 6-way power pedestal that adjusts the seat to your body. All of the controls are close by Ė the dash is equipped with RV Radio that comes with easy-to-use touch screen controls, CD player and built-in weatherband, as well as an optional sideview camera system that can also be viewed through the in-dash screen. The trip never seems long when you can listen to your favorite tunes, so itís a good thing this RV has the option of Sirius Plug-N-Play satellite radio, complete with an iPod interface connection, two docking ports and a complimentary six-month subscription. The cab also comes with a dash workstation that pulls out for your laptop, and an MCD American Duo front roller shade that features a powered visor, a light-filtering shade and a blackout shade.

Itís nice to know that even away from home, you still have options. With its full-wall slide giving you plenty of room for fun and relaxation, you can choose between a carpeted lounge area and easy-to-clean vinyl tile. A large screen LCD TV keeps you connected to your favorite shows, as does the HD-compatible satellite receiver and DISH Network.  And you can put your feet up and relax on the dual-control Rest Easy multi-position lounge. This handy piece of furniture glides from couch to recliner to bed Ė just push a button and get comfortable.

Whatís on the menu? How does a fully featured kitchen sound? In the looks department, the kitchen has a lot going for it, thanks to Corian solid surface countertops with a matching backsplash and covers for the sink and range. In the way of functionality, it comes equipped with a three-burner range with an available oven, microwave oven and two-door refrigerator/freezer. Offering storage and easy access are huge drawers and full-extension drawer slides, while filtered cold water is courtesy of a dedicated faucet. When itís time to chow down, take a seat at the U-shaped dinette that comes with hidden storage compartments and converts into a comfortable bed.

The master bedroom is your own private sanctuary. With a rear slideout to give you even more room, the private master bedroom has a queen innerspring mattress (or upgrade to the Ideal Rest digital comfort control mattress that offers dual air chambers with a foam top and individual comfort controls to adjust the firmness to your sleeping comfort). Before you drift off to sleep, watch a movie on the LCD TV with stereo system, CD/DVD player, iPod/MP3, input and built-in alarm clock. If youíre going to be on the road for awhile, plenty of storage makes it easy to pack for extended trips.

Next to the master bedroom is the bathroom. Featuring a textured glass shower door, a flexible showerhead, laminate countertop, skylight, porcelain toilet and water pump switch, you wonít miss a thing while youíre away from home.
