Feel like going on a travel spree? Then check out the 2012 KZ Spree Travel Trailer. Full of family-friendly features, the Spree comes outfitted with everything you need to make your time in the great outdoors that much more enjoyable.

You can never have too much of a good thing – that’s why the Spree comes in 20 different floorplans. Since we don’t have the time (or space) to go through each one, we’re going to concentrate our efforts on the 321BHS. This floorplan measures in with an exterior height of 11’2”, an exterior width of 96”, and exterior length of 34’7” and an interior height of 78”. The 321BHS has an unloaded vehicle weight of 6,837 lbs, a GVWR or 7,900 lbs, a dry hitch weight of 711 lbs and a dry axle weight of 6,126 lbs. In terms of water, it has a fresh water capacity of 40 gallons, a waste water capacity of 32 gallons, a gray water capacity of 32 gallons and a six-gallon water heater. Regulating the living environment, the 321BHS has a 30,000 BTU furnace and a 13,500 BTU air conditioner.

Built using heavy duty I-beam frame construction, the Spree features durability from its roof to its floor – and everything in between. The sidewalls are made using fiberglass and integrated luan backing, along with 1/8″ luan decorative wall board, aluminum frame front and end walls, and a diamond plate front plate. The seamless one-piece roof will weather the elements, thanks to 4 1/2″ aluminum truss rafters, R-7 batten insulation, insulated ductwork, heavy duty aluminum headers and an extra-long drip spout. Underfoot, the Spree comes equipped with a plywood floor, 2×2 double welded aluminum floor joists, R-7 batten insulation and the Darco moisture barrier. Finishing off the package, the Spree also comes with heavy duty leaf springs, easy lube axles and 15″ heavy duty steel wheels.

The 321BHS comes with some pretty sweet exterior perks. The outdoor entertainment area features an outdoor kitchen with a range top, sink, refrigerator and storage. And if you and your family want to explore the surroundings on your bikes, you may want to add on the optional bike rack/cargo carrier.

Other exterior features include triple steps, a standard awning, heated tanks and enclosed underbelly, outside speakers, a radius entrance door, tinted safety glass windows and cable hook-up. If that’s not enough for you, you can always upgrade with power front and rear stabilizer jacks and tongue jack, Goodyear tires, Equa-Flex suspension, aluminum wheels, fiberglass front cap and an assist grab handle.

The interior of the 321BHS Spree is decked out in an array of decor options, including Amaretto, Earth, and Wheat, which are complemented by Ella Maple or Legacy Cherry cabinetry. Overhead, there’s a vinyl ceiling panel, and underfoot you’ll find residential-style carpet pad, residential carpet or linoleum.

Walking into the 321BHS Spree, you’re greeted with a spacious, open-concept living area and kitchen. The kitchen design creates great open space with the adjacent dining area. For your dining pleasure, the kitchen comes equipped with a microwave with turntable and a 6-cubic-foot, double-door refrigerator (with black glass front). For meal prep and clean up, the kitchen also features a double sink, plenty of counter space and a sink cover.

In the living area, an entertainment center and comfortable seating invite great conversation and relaxation. A U-shaped dinette is ideal for meals or a fun night of cards, while the comfy sofa can be upgraded to a hide-a-bed, if you need the extra sleeping space.

One of the great things about the 321BHS is all of the sleeping space it offers. On one end of the travel trailer are rear fold-up bunks that give you extra storage capacity, so you can bring your bikes along. As well, the rear lower bunk can be replaced with an optional jiffy flip sofa. Plus, the upper bunk swings up and locks out of the way when it’s not being used.

Located at the other end of the trailer, the bedroom is a welcoming retreat. This room features a queen-sized bed with an innerspring mattress, a space-expanding vanity slide-out with additional overhead cabinetry, upholstered headboard, mirrored side wardrobe and overhead cabinets.

The Spree also comes with a handy bathroom, making trips to the outhouse a thing of the past. This room comes with a shower, toilet, vanity sink, medicine cabinet, skylight, and power vent.

Other interior features include accent border tape, roller ball bearing drawer guides, gas struts on the bed base, large overhead cabinets and halogen lights in the main slide out. Popular interior upgrades include raised panel refrigerator doors, foot flush toilet, LCD flat screen TV, Fan-Tastic vent in the bedroom and bathroom, solid surface countertop extension, as well as a bunk ladder and railing.

The 2012 KZ Spree 321BHS Travel Trailer retails for around $37,600. For more information, visit http://www.kz-rv.com/.
