Offering wide open, spacious layouts in a trailer that can be towed by a minivan or a smaller crossover vehicle, the Prime Time Tracer ultra-lightweight travel trailer just might be the home away from home you’ve been looking for.

There is no shortage of floorplans to choose from – the Tracer boasts an impressive 17 in total. We’re going to take a closer look at the 2640 RLS, which is part of the Executive Series. It has a base weight of 3,693 lbs, hitch weight of 575 lbs, and cargo carrying capacity of 1,792 lbs. The 2640 RLS measures in with an exterior length of 29’5”, exterior height of 10’10”, and exterior width of 96”. For water, it has a fresh-water capacity of 48 gallons, black-water capacity of 30 gallons, and gray-water capacity of 30 gallons. As well, it has a 13,500 BTU residential ducted air conditioner, 6-gallon gas/electric water heater, and high-capacity gas furnace.

The Tracer is built using Eternabond construction. This means it features laminated aluminum framed side walls, end walls, main floor and slideout walls, and roof. This process designed to ensure that you get a stronger, lighter, and longer lasting trailer. Its fully walkable roof system comes equipped with 5″ crowned trusses, a one-piece insulated air conditioning duct system, and R-14 fiberglass insulation. Plus, the Tracer’s enclosed underbelly is heated with a 2” duct vented from the furnace to protect your enclosed holding tanks, water lines, and dump valves from the elements.

On the way to your destination, you’ll enjoy the EZ Tow feature. This minimizes the vertical bouncing effect that is transferred to the tow vehicle when traveling over rough road surfaces, potholes or railroad crossings. And when you finally get there, electric stabilizer jacks take the work out of leveling the Tracer.

Adding to the convenience factor of this Prime Time travel trailer, the Tracer features a UDC that houses all your water and cable connections, outside shower and black tank flush in a lighted, heated and locking compartment. Plus, with easy access low point drains, you won’t have to crawl under your trailer to unscrew cap fittings. With just a simple ¼ turn, these easy-to-reach drain valves let you to drain your water lines and fresh water tank in a flash. And if you want to hook up a gas grill, the LP Quick Connect found on the back of the Tracer makes it easy.

Inside your home away from home, you’ll be impressed with the lengths that Prime Time has gone to in order to make you feel comfortable. Sporting plenty of style, the Tracer features pre-drilled and screwed Cinnamon finish cabinetry and oil-rubbed bronze hardware. As well, the 2640 RLS comes with E-Stone countertops, boasting a residential look with lightweight durability designed for an RV. E-Stone is certified to meet UL flame spread and impact requirements.

The living area is great for lounging and sleeping as the Tracer features the Sleep & Play sofa. During the day, use it as a comfortable lounge area complete with drink holders. At night, just lay it down for an extra-large sleeping area. And prepare to be entertained – the Tracer’s 26” LCD flat screen TV is complemented by a Jensen stereo featuring DVD, CD, AM/FM, MP-3 and USB capabilities. The living area also comes with residential swivel chairs and overhead cabinets.

The kitchen is more than ample for all your cooking and dining needs. In the way of appliances, the Tracer comes equipped with a large two-door refrigerator, microwave, large oven, and range hood with light and exhaust. Added extras include large cupboards with easy-to-remove shelves and a built-in spice rack. A dinette table can be adjusted to pull double duty as a coffee table or it can fit through the entry door for use underneath the awning.

In the bedroom you’ll find an Evergreen Select Foam queen size mattress covered by a quilted bedspread. For your storage needs, you’ll also find two shirt closets and overhead cabinets.

Last but not least, the Tracer’s bathroom has more than you’d expect to find in a travel trailer. Tracer offers two types of KING showers to choose from – the 32”x40” or the 36” wide neo-angled shower. Other bathroom features include a wooden medicine cabinet, ABS tub/shower surround, 12V exhaust fan, and extended height toilet with foot flush.
