Horrible Experience
By David (I am an Owner) on Aug 26, 2014I purchased this camper new in late June 2014. The day I picked it up they had already told me the awning needed replaced. I've used it 2 times. The first was a nearby 3 day stay with no rain. The next was a 2 day as well nearby trip. The last day had rain. Both drop out canopy bed leak around all the ... seams. We woke up in the middle of the night, the bedding as well as ourselves were wet. The following day I inspected the camper in greater detail. The interior construction has split bracing, damaged exposed trim where the installer went too deep with the screws. The cabinet hinges should have flat head screws and they do but there are rounded screws used as well in place of the flat head screws. Trim boards are warped, loose, and damaged. The areas where there is caulking has dirt and dust under the caulking. I'm some areas the seam strips don't completely cover the seams. The refrigerator has two dents in the hard metal. Something that was clearly done while in construction. Fabric trip is warped in certain areas. One cabinet door handle was placed in the wrong area of the door and the bolt hits the board that separates the two sections of the cupboard. The installer actually put a felt pad over the handle bolt so it didn't scratch the frame when the cupboard is closed. Interior finished sheeting does not completely cover areas. Loose sheeting and boards. Cover sheeting that covers storage is not square and doesn't properly seat. Let's go outside!! Poor caulking job. Looks like a little kid did it. Some bolts are stainless and others are already rusting. In one outer latch there are two different bolts used in the same latch. Window molding is falling out and not properly seated. The area where the two beds drop are warped by the latches. I thought there was a dent in the front and the service man told me it couldn't be a dent that it's fiberglass. He told me it's most likely a screw that was put in too tight. Door sealant missing. Broken drain cup near the awning. I called the rv center where I purchased the camper and had to leave a message for the salesmen. After a week of no contact I stopped in to show the sale men the video of the canopies that were leaking. His service man looked at the video and said the seams weren't sealed. He said they have a spray that will seal the seams. Lol... how long will that last. I'm guessing not long but probably long enough for the warranty to expire. I have a service appointment next week but I'm really considering telling them to keep this piece of junk. I think I pretty much bought a pieces & parts camper. Not Happy!!Rating breakdown
