So So
By James (I am an Owner) on Jul 02, 2018Owned this trailer for the past 4 months, I have lived in it off and on for work, so approx 2 months on and off, also did a trip from Ontario To Quebec and back with it. I don't mind living in it, it has everything that you need, its comfortable in the heat (AC), and keeps you warm when its cool, I ... am a little dissatisfied with the quality and the design of the trailer. Where to begin: I am 6'3'', all the beds including the main Queen bed are too short for me, I have to pull the mattress away from the wall to be able to sleep on it, My feet still hang off the edge of the bed, I am able to sleep on the bunks and the couch but have to on an angle, The bunk mattresses are very uncomfortable, I weight approx 220 lbs, Also the couch is very uncomfortable, It does fold into a bed and has storage underneath, I find that it is very poor quality. It is really tight to sleep with two adults comfortably on the queen mattress, the side tables are about an 1-2 inches taller than the bed, so plan on hitting your limbs of that side table, also the upper storage cabinets are way too low and you come in frequent contact with them as well, the storage cabinets for your clothes are also poorly designed, not enough room to hang shirts, drawers are super small, The led lighting in the bedroom is not in the right place, there is a single light under the storage shelf over the bed, this light will blind you when you lying in bed. The bed is also on a wooden platform made out of cheap osb with sharp corners, be prepared to skin your chins on that. The entrance door is very cheap, parts of the closing mechanism for the screen door have already fallen off, there are only tiny sheet metal screws that hold the handle to the door. After pulling the trailer behind my truck on the highway I noticed that several screws fell out of the frame of the windows, the screws were so loose (predrilled holes) that I wasn't able to screw them back in, The emergency pop out windows have a mosquito screen , but have a giant hole where the window pop out arm goes thru, this allows bugs from the outside to enter easily, the kitchen 12 v exhaust van has a very course screen that lets mosquitoes come in as well, I had to install an extra screen from the outside to keep them out. The kitchen is fine, big sink, a very nice fridge, and good sized stove, only thing I don't like about it that it doesn't have any counter space, The dinnett seating is uncomfortable for prolonged periods of time. The Ac is super loud but it works well, it has a heating function that doesn't work well at all, The Bathroom is fine, its small but its comfortable, Overall I find its build very cheap, poor workmanship, holes are just smeared over with some kind of filler (not matching color well), kitchen counter top is glue on and doesn't looks nice, the wall panels have a lot of gaps, and the tape is not stuck on properly, simple wood construction with lots of osb, outside storage cabinet doors have garbage locks, door trim is cheap and has to be pushed back in over and over again, lots of places are not sealed right, and don't look nice to look at, again just smeared on. I spend 24 k Cdn for this unit new, I am not convinced on how long this trailer will hold up, Time will tell, its convenient and easy to pull , but the quality and the design would make me rethink to with coleman again.Rating breakdown
