Very luxious RV with lots of advantages
By Familly of 5 (I am an Owner) on Nov 26, 2013We bought our RV about 2 years ago and we have to admit that it is a great unit for the price! It has a very attractive inside design with a large dinette and nice colors. We love the bed that is flat on the roof and comes down over the driver's seat : it brings the advantage of the kind of bed you ... would find in Class C RVs without the feeling of having a low ceiling over your head when you drive. You also find many features that are usually only available on very expensive Diesel RVs. The parents room is very private, since you can close two sets of doors between the room and the rest of the RV. Every inches of space is very well tought, like the bathroom that uses the whole passage way when needed by closing the 2 sets of doors. The whole familly is enchanted by our Fleetwood Terra 31 TS. Our only disappointement are the short windshield whippers and the fact that the driver's seat does not turns easily 180 degrees.Rating breakdown

Be Warned of the Terra 31TS!
By John Doe (I am an Owner) on Sep 24, 2011We purchased a 2011 Terra 31TS in November 2010 and have been so disappointed with the design and quality and have had lots of problems with the coach! Keep in mind we purchased this new, and have had it only 10 months! Here's the list of design problems that we've notified Fleetwood with. Their response ... has been that's by design, and they cannot change anything. Horrible customer service from them. 1. The coach is a hazard to drive on the road first of all. The windshield wipers are too small, and when you sit in the driving chair you see above where the blades go when it rains. Therefore you have to duck in the driving chair to see when it rains. 2. The fog lights only come on when the bright lights are on! They say they only come on and are driving lights for when the brights are on. This is insane! NO other coaches have to have bright lights on to activate fog lights. 3. You cannot physically get into the bathroom if the bedroom door is closed. The door opens towards you instead of away from you. 4. The driving and passenger chairs cannot swivel all the way around due to the design. 5. The passenger chair cannot lean back all the way due to the opening in the dinette not being wide enough. Why even have a gap in the dinnette if you cannot lean the chair back? 6. This is a classic!... You can watch the DVD in the bedroom, however, you cannot hear the sound when it plays. You can only hear the sound in the living room. They said this was again by design! Would not fix it.. 7. The air conditioners are too close to each other. When the rear air is on, it blows cold air directly on the front thermostat, thereby causing the front one to turn off. 8. The gap in the front grill needs a screen on it. First of all it causes too much air to get into the cab, and you get lower gas mileage because of it. 9. The mirrors were too heavy for the paneling, and pulled the paneling apart after driving. In addition, the way they were in the coach, no one could sit at night while driving in the coach due to the lights reflecting so much in the mirrors. (needless to say we took them off) Now for the quality problems: 1. There is not one drywall screw in the entire coach. We've had so many things just fall off out of the wall it's pathetic. They screwed regular screws into an 1/8 inch piece of plywood with no backing. 2. We've had 2 major leaks already in the front window. The seal on the roof keeps coming up, and they keep putting more screws in it to stop the leaks. 3. The backup camera works some times, then goes out. They can't seem to find out why or any loose cables. 4. The refrig fan has already gone out. 5. We had the awning plastic piece fly out while driving down the road last week. 6. The bay storage doors leak water and air if you don't lock all the doors. 7. 2 recalls already. What attracted us to the coach was the 7' dinette, however, when you turn it into a bed, the seat cushions fall off when you lay in it. This was due to the design that put the crease of the cusion right in the middle. We've been previous RV owners and with Fleetwood and have been happy. Unfortunately, however, this is the worst coach we've ever had, and I would not recommend it to anyone. In addition, Fleetwood has been horrible to work with on trying to fix anything. They keep saying everything was by design. Well if that is the case, please fire their designer! Shame on you Fleetwood!Rating breakdown
