Great for long weekends
By Susan Wood (I am an Owner) on Aug 31, 2011Owned since end of May 2011. 1st trip 3 day weekend in snow Battery ran dead during the 1st night (my fault left the fridge on 12V) was able to stay nice and warm with heater on. Slept my husband and myself, 6 grandkids ages 2-10 and 2 adult parents using all 4 beds the 2 dinettes fold down to a twin ... and a double which is not mentioned. Use CAUTION when using the outside BBQ pit, first it is wobly (duct taping the legs together helps)second, if you have high fat meat like hamburger patties it will flare up. Shutting the lid is of no use, however turning off the gas and praying helps. I was sure I was going to burn it to the ground. I did get the hang of it on my 2nd and 3rd trips. 2nd trip I found that the rubber seal on the small outer door was falling off and the bottom metal piece was loose. The green ground wire disconnected and had to be screwed back in on top. The plastic snap straps to hold the door up melted loose and are worthless. The battery ran dead after 5 days due to running out of water and the pump even while off was trying to prime itself. All of the appliances work great, the plug ins and heated beds only work when attatched to electric but everything else works off of the battery. It pulls through snow and water with ease as well as extremely rough roads. It sets up in 20 minutes with 2 persons even in the dark. I love the outside light for a quick run to the restroom. It has alot of storage for a Pop Up and uses minimal propane used 3.3 gallons for a 2 week trip 1.5 using the heater for the first trip of 3 days. I added solar panels to assist with the battery. There is no waste water disposal tank on this unit. So really only minor issues which are easily resolved. I have really enjoyed all of the time spent in my trailer, even when it rained for 3 days and high winds we were snug and happy and dry.Rating breakdown
