What next will break?
By S.H. Brouwer (I am an Owner) on Mar 11, 2013Purchase our unit the fall of 2011. Right from the start we soon found little problems with the unit. eg. table screwed down in a position where nobody could sit at two of the chairs. No provision for pumping up the air bed if you have no services. Electrical plugs, place in a location where it can't ... be used. The sofa has # store brakets to hold it in position they pulled out first trip. As the summer of 2012 progressed we found endless problems. Fridge shelves kept dropping contents to bottom of fridge on the road, breaking the crisper glass. Counter top is bucked up behind fridge, and their are no roof vents in the unit except in bathroom. The air conditioner does an adequate job in the living area, however, it is lacking in the bedroom with no ventilation other than one window, and limited air circulation. Area is much hotter than rest of unit, insulation in from lacking? The hydraulic cylinder has broken twice on the door, a really poor set up. Each an every trip there has been something else. Talked to the company at Middlebury and should have saved my time .....The only thing that works well is the sidewinder hitch. I hate to think of going out with this unit this year, last years trips were. horrible. The quality of the older units is no longer there. This will be our last Jayco unit. We had 3 previously which were excellent.Rating breakdown

How does Jayco do it? Quality and value on a light weight 5er?
By Jayco Joe (I am an Owner) on Dec 12, 2011We've had our Jayco SuperLite 5er for 4 months now, traded in our older Jayco 5er and sold our Diesel Pickup. We tow with a new Ford F150 EcoBoost turbo gasser...and it's a great match up for towing this trailer! We've gone up mountain roads and steep grades here is SoCal with no issues at all...and ... the Jayco is everybit as good as far as quality and ammenities as our Eagle 5th wheel was. The slide out is unexpectedly big, and the interior feels very luxurious and well done. We're happy that we were able to stay with the Jayco brand without having to give up anythig for a lighter RV.Rating breakdown
