By Marcia B Dickerson (I am an Owner) on Sep 02, 2017There are good and bad about the hummingbird. I have only had it a month. First off I never use the TV,Radio or Microwave. Never use the outdoor table included. Plus I had to redo the setup. I took out the table. It is just me. I only use a small foldable table. I took out the full size mattress. Took ... out part of the plywood so it gave me more room and the bathroom door will open all the way. I installed a memory foam TWIN mattress. That gave me room on the side to put in a small chest. So it is better for a single person now. The cornice on the window above the bed came unscrewed and trying to replace it there was nothing behind the wallboard to screw it to so it would just keep coming loose. So I threw it away and used the shade. Attached it with velcro. The USB port charger fell out when I unplugged my Kindle. The awning light controller does not always work because the wiring in the main switch is not good. The floor started SQUEAKING when walking on it. Screws are always falling out and I have to find out where to re-screw them. The trim around the mirror on the bathroom door fell off. Had to redo that with some glue.Seems like I haul it down the road a ways then when I open the door I look to see what has fallen down or off. Construction quality is horrible. Have had to recaulk some places in the bathroom cause they were not done properly. Installed an Oxegenics shower head and have better water flow. Looks like I will have to recaulk around the cabinets soon. Caulk is shrinking. I do like the size. Not too big but not too small. Pulls great. So far the A/C works great.Refrig works great, but "rains" inside so I have to mop up water. Love the LED lghts. Would like to see some one make a camper trailer for singles. I could use less sitting area and more storage inside or a bigger bathroom. Just remember when you buy one that it is cardboard, glue and staples. AND slapped together. Hope it lasts 5 years.Rating breakdown
