Great RV
By John (I am an Owner) on Aug 08, 2012I've had this rig for 1 1/2 years. There are pros and cons just like any other RV. Nothing has broke besides a light switch. There is no heating for the garage area but there's air conditioning for it.The only thing I would change is put the slide out on the other side! When its all sucked it you cant ... get into the kitchen part without sliding it out. Also there is no main power shut off when all the breakers are off it still draws power and will drain batteries while its parked. Great ground clearance and design. It has every luxery you can expect from a pricy camper.Rating breakdown

Great Trailer
By AZ Admeral (I am an Owner) on Oct 25, 2011I really spent sometime doing my research before deciding to go with the raptor 30fs. It really came down between two trailers for me. The fusion 300 and the raptor 30fs. I chose the raptor for its overall better construction. I realize they both go down the same line at the same factory but compare ... really do your home work. the raptor has alluminum fenders, solid wood cabinets, a full size shower, a V nose with soild fiberglass nose cap, and an R value W=11 F=14 and the roof R=14 thats as good as they can get for a TT oh and did I mention the welded alluminum frame. The fusion had a small shower, plastic fenders, plastic wood, jensesn stereo, and a cheesey kid like finish. Also all of that black on the exterior finshes just fades in the sun and holds the heat. The raptor 30fs isnt flawless the rear walk thru door is only 5'8"h and Im 6'2" so I have to duckbut what do you expect from some short amish/mexican trailer builders in the midwest... I really like the Raptor but I must warn you I tried 3 times to talk with Keystone direct and each time I patiently waited on hold to speak with someone that could help me but ended up talking to idiots who couldnt even tell me the standrad things the brochure stated.I had to inspect each trailer in person. Also I made my dealer water test doors windows and the roof. Hope this helps someone. Happy trails!Rating breakdown

They didn't compare
By vetrider291 (I am an Owner) on Sep 10, 2011This is one of the very few toyhauler travel trailers that has a seperation wall between the toys (motorcycles/quads) and where you eat and sleep. This was an absolute must for me. The raptor was visibly built better, with nicer interior design, actual wood cabinets (WOW), an actual full size shower, ... smooth fiberglass sides (easier to keep clean) and aggressive v-nose design. After looking at the few other travel trailer toyhaulers that had the seperation wall, it was a no-brainer. They didn't compare. The Forest River XLR series are nice also, but their travel trailer with a seperation wall didn't work for me. Their fifth-wheels are comparable to the Raptor fifth-wheels (I think, anyway), but Raptor has the edge on the travel trailer. Raptor 30fs is heavier than the other comparable toyhaulers (empty), but seems to tow nicely behind my 2011 Tundra 5.7L, tracks well, doesn't really sway, and has more than ample brakes. The only time I really notice its weight, is when I'm towing it up a long or steep hill. I'm happy with my purchase, but warn others to bargain hard with the dealer. These raptors have a very expensive sticker price (way over-priced). The dealers will bend further than you think.Rating breakdown

Better be some warrantee work to recommend this
By Mark Bruellman (I am an Owner) on Jan 13, 2011I love this floorplan, and many things about this.. Almost PERFECT... BUT, both axles are bent..5000 miles and one tire is bald on edge..others wearing fast..ZERO heat in bedroom..50 deg in bedroom when 35 outside.. No way to get more; I put adjustable vents in kitchen and bathroom-closed them down ... and could get a little heat in bedroom--but heater cycled a lot, probably got too hot internally.. And, why no heat duct in garage? 2 hrs and $20 and I had it done.. The bathroom fan is one of those rediculous deafeners that do almost nothing..to turn it on, you have to step into the shower to turn it on.This rig rates something better than a $30 fan..I put a remote control fantastic--now I have something..And no vent covers??.Before the conversion I did, vent not too far open, fan whizzing away, and still had cold water coming in as I took shower..CHEAP!! Lighting is adequate.. They could have put in more cabinets-even looks bare..I got some from Menards and they fit right in-put some white ones in garage; nary a one from factory.. Window blinds in garage tore up immediately-can't have alum blinds against a bed that goes up and down. And the water pump is still a cheap bdup, bdup jobbie..I put in a good pump-now it's up to snuff.. 2 1/2 gaps under the doors were too much.. Aren't doors for privacy?. I put some vinyl self stick wall moulding on the bottoms-left a half inch gap and they look factory, and now the doors do their jobs.. that front kitty corner bed is THE answer to efficient use of space.. This unit seems SO much larger inside than out.. Has 110v in addition to gas water heater-be nice to have the 110n switch inside, instead of under water heater outside cover.. heater keeps up very well with lots of showerers.. Wish I could run recirculating fan and furnace at the same time.. Controls say it can be done, but nothing happens when switches are set that way. Could be a little more outside storage-have to throw the sometimes dirty, wet, heavy cord onto the floor for transport.. I love the generatro and fuel..Controls are just fine-located well. If these issues get taken care of with no hassle by Keystone, I will be back on here to say so.. I will then say it is a wonderful rig.. At this time, in light of what I think of mine, DO NOT purchase one of these, unless you can compromise on the items I mentioned.....Rating breakdown
