Love My Outback!
By Bobby D (I am an Owner) on Jul 11, 2016Purchased 2015 324cg about a year and a half ago, used it 8-10 trips and absolutely love it. Perfect size for my family of 3 and a small dog, plus room for all the toys/bikes, etc. I am 6'2, 225lbs and find the space to be adequate for anyone my size or maybe even larger. Trailer easy to pull, everything ... functions well and is easy to use. Love the retractable awning and power slides. Surround sound stereo and entertainment is very nice as well. Most cannot believe how much we paid for all we get when we tell them. Very satisfied with the purchase.Rating breakdown

There's definitely good, but also the not so good
By Outback Owner (I am an Owner) on Jul 06, 2015We recently purchased this camper, sight unseen, from a company that was out of town. Let me start by saying, their care and treatment of us through the whole process was exceptional. We truly could not have asked for nicer, more laidback, and upfront folks. We opted to stay the night in the camper, ... just to make sure there were no serious kinks. Pretty much everything was good, a few minor things like trim, the plastic track at the bottom of door, and an adjustment to the rear entry door. All major appliances, a/c, everything worked just as expected. We got home, the trim for the ceiling was dangling above the master bed. A few days later we noticed that all of the double cabinets, and I truly mean all, would not shut properly. You would have to shut them together, simultaneously. The hubs read about this and it's due to not spacing the cabinet doors at install. So, we worked the hinges to make them close nicer and not be so tight. A few days after that, my main pantry cabinet door was split at the top. I glued and wratched it together to make a tight fit. Today, the trim to the rear door was noticed to completely not be adhered to anything. I know these are all nit picky, but they are constantly popping up. I will point out that the wall separating the bunk area from the living area makes it much more challenging maneuvering in from the front door. Larger people will struggle with this, the "hall" there is very narrow. The upper cabinet in the bunk has such a low rod (which I moved up) that there is nearly no point in hanging the clothes. The cabinets above the sofa are not as big or deep as other campers. There is no window on the opposite side of the slide from the sofa, so no cross breeze. The cabinet in the master for hanging, yeah, it's super shallow and all the hangers have to be child size or cocked sideways. We are going on a 2 week trip tomorrow and we are now learning this stuff. There is only 1 outside compartment to store your hoses, power cable, and other items for setup. I think the windows in the master were put in upside down on one side of the side. It doesn't open the same direction as the opposite window. The kitchen is great, but there is little storage for cutlery and other utensils. Don't get me wrong, the drawers are tall, but there are only 2. The exterior is gorgeous, the decor is very neutral (which we love) and I love the linoleum, looks like old barn wood. I just wish they would have done the cabinets differently for hanging clothes because you really can't! There are definitly some nuances with this setup. We stepped up from an old Avion "silver bullet" to this and I dearly miss the quality from the Avion. It's just so different. Given the opportunity, probably would never buy another camper sight unseen, and would probably look at traditional bunk house layout and not this one. AS unique as it is, it just doesn't fit my bill. But, my husband loves it and I guess that is what counts. Hope this helps others contemplating this floor plan with kids. Oh, forgot to mention this! We had to remove the door from the bunk area to the main area, as it opened into the front door. As in, if the bunk door was open and you came in through the front door, you would have to shut the bunk door just to get through. We are hoping to be able to flip the door trim and make it open into the bunk. We shall see. Again, probably nit picking this thing to death, but I guess we all want to know before we purchase. Happy shopping!Rating breakdown
