somewhat happy... after resolving issues... hoping these are only ones
By Tom McCrea (I am an Owner) on Jul 22, 2016received new off lot in April '16only used @ home for family/friends/getting used to it, until end of June '16performed pre-trip inspection/dewinterizing/tank test/etc beginning of June and following problems were found.1. poorly laid out plumbing caused cheap plastic PEX fitting to break (found before ... filling thankfully!) issue was under sink, pure luck it was found before water test otherwise would have been disasterous. 2. second plumbing issue, bad crimp causing pin hole leak, found after filling, minor leak but was hidden under sink like #1 above, so somewhat simple to clean up. 3. one way valve for city water inlet did not work, so pump stays on when using tank for water source. water pours out of city water inlet, so no pressure and would burn out pump in no time. 4. siding is cut extremely short @ front where siding meets front diamond plate and curves under trailer. caulking is stretched beyond yield and gap is present (it's not PL, it's sealant Keystone!) 5. pull out kitchen is super weak/bouncy. I installed extra slides on it (2 plus original 2) so that it wasn't as weak feeling when using it. I also installed them level with the rest of the trailer, which meant leveling originals, and then adjusting height of locking mechanism so it would actually line up properly. all the above issues after 115km drive from dealer to home. no other use. 6. first trip of 250km caused weather stripping to peel off from around doorway, oddly enough only reason we noticed was it had wrapped around rear axle of trailer somehow. 7. issue #4 above has gotten worse, and I've had to push front back as far as possible and use self tappers to attack diamond plate so there is less gap. 8. corner jacks @ rear used self tapping screws... ok no problem, but they put them dead center of bumper so sewage hose would not fit into bumper as they typically do. I removed jacks, then welded hitch receiver tube to frame & under bumper and then added jacks under hitch tube. lowered jacks to better height and enforced weak bumper with hitch tube AND now have hitch to use for bike rack and made a frame for ute box to hold blocks, sewage gloves & attachments. and got bumper back for sewage hose! all issues were fixed by me because I spoke with dealer. we live over hour drive from them, and since plumbing issues didn't pop up all at once we decided I would fix the problem and they would reimburse $$... then next problem popped up, then final plumbing problem, each a few days after previous (took me a few days to get parts, find time, install & test... then f!!! not again!) anyway, we have since put over 3000km on the trailer this month and no further problems have risen. the dealer has agreed to fix all problems properly once we return and perform a proper PDI (excuse was our trailer was winterized before they received it) so, if these are the only issues we ever have... I'll be atleast satisfied and give a "satisfactory" review. If dealer comes through, maybe them or keystone could try to make it up to us in someway that would be great. After spending $25k I expwct ZERO problema for atleast the first yar or two... however I am glad they happened early as they were covered so I'm only out time, not $$.Rating breakdown
