Camper problems
By Jack Keiber (I am an Owner) on Jun 12, 2012To Whom it may concern,I bought the Sportsman Classic 14RB by KZ in June of 2011. I took it out for the first time, on a 120 mile trip. As to my suprise there were a lot of things that had fell apart. First was the clothes hanging rack in the closet. We did not have it full either. The bracket was attached ... to the 1/8 inch thick top shelf which was attached with staples, this was found on the floor of the closet when we opened it. The staples had pulled through. Next was the valance that is over the blinds of the front window of the camper. It was laying on the table which was laid out as a bed for towing. In checking out the brackets that hold this valance up, the one side was put up crooked. With the way this bracket was put up from the manufacturer, there was no way of tightening this screw. The way of putting it back up had to be revamped to make it hold. Third, there is a 1/8" thick board to stop the electrical cord from hitting the hot water heater hoses and other switches in front of it. This was found laying on the floor, staples had been pulled out somehow. Other things that I have not been happy with. The Drain on the holding tank is out the side of the tank and NOT on the bottom. IMPOSSIBLE to empty out completely. I wanted to clean the tank out before we took this trip. Within the first month of having the camper, after a rain I found water inside the camper, one of the cushions was soaked, the front window had leaked. I took it back to the Dealer and they fixed this. The brackets that hold the grey water and sewage tank that are underneath the camper were never painted from the factory and are now have some major rusting, these are very thin, and now being rusted will not last very long. I have now painted them to hopefully make them last much longer than they would have at the rate they were going. I am very disapointed at this poor engeneering. I have a pond that I keep this camper at. This is my first trip taken with the camper. People have told me how nice this camper looks, and let me tell you that LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING!! The only time I have taken the camper back to the dealer was for the leaking window. These things are not the dealers fault. So I am writing to let you know about this as I had worked for fourty years in building machines and when they were ready for the customer, they were done right.Rating breakdown

fun times ahead
By Ozzy (I am an Owner) on Apr 26, 2011Lots of fun in a small package. Tows easily and the electric brakes bring everything to a smooth stop. All the comforts of home. Just enough room for 2 people. So far the trips we have taken have been a total blast. The canopy is a great edition. Can't wait for the weekends, or retirement. Go Rving!!!Rating breakdown
