Forest River IBEX Lightweight Travel Trailer Preview

Forest River Inc. has announced the introduction of its new IBEX line of lightweight travel trailers. The Forest River IBEX will officially debut later in May.

Eight IBEX floorplans will be available, including four that are seven feet wide and tip the scales at less than 5000 pounds. The other four floorplans are eight feet wide and weigh less than 7000 pounds.

According to Forest River, the lighter weight makes the IBEX towable bySUVs and smaller trucks.

Each Forest River IBEX will be outfitted with an on board solar systemand invertor, cold weather package with tank pads and enclosed underbelly, andall-terrain tires that help provide more ground clearance.

“IBEX is perfect for adventure loving travelers, who do not wish to beconstrained by the limits of their travel trailer,” said Product Manager CodySchade.

By focusing on how ourcustomers are using their travel trailer, we were able to create a product thatallows for more flexibility, both on the road, and on the trail.
