The Fleetwood Bounder is one of the RV company’s most popular Class A motorhomes and it’s not hard to see why. From thoughtful and luxurious décor details to a clear commitment to comfort and convenience, the Bounder truly feels like an inviting home.

Of the six spacious floor plans available, we’re digging into the 33C. It has a gross weight vehicle rating of 22,000 lbs and a gross combined weight rating of 26,000 lbs. It has an exterior length of 34’3”, height of 12’10” and width of 102”, along with a wheelbase of 208”. Fuel tank capacity is 80 gallons. The fresh water holding tank has a capacity of 100 gallons, and the quick recovery water heater tank holds 10 gallons. Gray water tank capacity is 58 gallons and black water capacity is 42 gallons.

The Bounder is built around Fleetwood’s Power Platform chassis system, a custom build by Ford designed to deliver optimal handling. Features include four-point automatic hydraulic leveling jacks and plenty of pass-through basement storage thanks to the chassis’ raised platform design. Molded storage boxes mean that the compartments can easily be cleaned out with a hose without fear of water getting through any seams.

With five exterior color packages to choose from for the full-body paint job, the Bounder can be done up to your taste. Large, heated rear-view mirrors are remote controlled and have built-in side-view cameras.

On those days that you just can’t bear the thought of being inside, the Bounder has you covered from sunrise to lights-out. There’s an exterior shower, 17’ legless patio awning with LED lighting, and exterior wall-mounted entertainment center complete with 32” LED TV, radio, and a CD/DVD player.

Stepping into the Bounder 33C feels luxurious thanks in part to the décor. Choose from three different color combinations and between two hardwood finishes for the raised panel cabinet doors. Large 12”x24” composite tiles make up the flooring. The length of the galley and living room features oversized windows so even when you’re inside, you’ll be getting lots of natural light and incredible views.

Make your way into the Fleetwood Bounder‘s kitchen and you will find all the comforts of a real home kitchen. There is ample pantry space with pull-out drawers and most cupboards have adjustable-height shelves. A glass tile backsplash adds a sophisticated touch, as do the solid surface countertops and the tall faucet with pull-out sprayer. A full-size residential refrigerator with icemaker, three-burner recessed stovetop with optional oven, stainless steel convection microwave, and double sink will make meal prep a dream.

The dinette area comfortably sits four for a meal or a few hands of cards. Afterwards, get cozy on chilly or rainy days with a cup of tea and a book in front of the electric fireplace with heater – there’s plenty of room for everyone on the slide-out L-shaped sofa. Behind the 40” television you’ll find storage space for all your remotes, DVDs, magazines, and games. The home theater set-up includes a Blu-Ray sound system and full HD video system.

Fleetwood outfitted the bathroom with a porcelain pedestal sink, hardwood cabinetry, satin nickel accessories, and glass shower door. The toilet uses a vacu-flush system to liquefy waste and use less water. Several drawers and cabinets give you lots of space to tuck away all of your toiletries and bathroom supplies.

When you need a little privacy, head over to the bedroom, which is separated from the living room with a pocket door. Again, as with everywhere else in the Fleetwood Bounder, storage space is abundant with several large drawers, overhead cabinets, and a lift-up bed with space underneath. You’ll have no problem keeping your clothes neat and organized in the wardrobe with its hanging bar and adjustable shelves. The slide-out has two windows to allow in some natural light. A queen-size bed comes standard or pick the optional king size. Also optional is a washer/dryer combo. A 32” television, rear speakers, and overhead reading lights make the bedroom a perfect retreat at the end of a busy day.

The Fleetwood Bounder 33C starts at $171,746 US. For more information visit http://www.fleetwoodrv.com/.
