If road trips involve dirt biking, rafting and motorcycle riding, then you need a toy hauler with storage space. You may think that your options are limited to fifth wheels – think again. The 2014 Evergreen Amped boasts the storage space of a fifth wheel, but the grace of a travel trailer. With a design that makes loading and unloading as simple as starting the engine, the Evergreen Amped will undoubtedly get you amped for your wild adventures.

Five floorplans are available to choose from. We’ve decided to explore the 32GS because its simple layout is most efficient in space. It has an exterior length of 36’11”, exterior width of 102” and interior height of 96”/101”. The Evergreen Amped has a gross vehicle weight rating of 12,900 lbs. It has a fresh water capacity of 174 gallons, gray water capacity of 50 gallons, black water capacity of 50 gallons and fuel tank capacity of 40/18 gallons.

With Z-Frame technology, the 2014 Evergreen Amped travel trailer provides you with the storage space of a fifth wheel in an easy-to-tow travel trailer. The Z-frame also creates a floor system that is set over axles. Essentially, this means that you get improved ground clearance off-road. With no interior wheel wells, you can load the back of this toy hauler to the max, while getting support from the standard beavertail and eight-foot ramp, which has a 3,000-pound rating. Storage space is vast, with hidden nooks and crannies scattered throughout the trailer. Some highlights of the 2014 Evergreen Amped 32GS Toy Hauler’s construction are the DuraLite double welded aluminum structure and the vacuum laminated walls. The plywood decking is marine grade and the Amped also features a high gloss fiberglass gel coat finish.

The 2014 Evergreen Amped runs with aluminum wheels and features a power awning. Baggage doors feature a slam latch, making storing, locking and unlocking as safe as it is easy. A standard four spot lighting system includes two door side and two rear mounts. As well, the Amped features a heated and enclosed underbelly, detachable power cord, welded toy lock connection and pass through storage. Utilities include a six-gallon DSI water heater and an Onan 4,000 watt generator. LED lighting is featured throughout the interior and exterior of the 32GS.

After spending a day getting dirty in the wild outdoors, spend an evening getting dirty in the kitchen. Dig into your eight-cubic-foot refrigerator and pick out a few veggies. Chop them up on the Corian countertops, mix them with sauces stored in your pantry and make a stir-fry over the three-burner stove, equipped with a gas oven. Lazy cooks can throw a Hungry Man TV dinner into the microwave, which features a built-in range hood. Eat dinner at the U-dinette, located across from the kitchen and beside a long window. If you organize your time well, you can watch the sunset while devouring a homemade meal.

Before you head to bed, steer your attention towards the entertainment center, located in the kitchen. The radio comes with a DVD and CD Player. TV lovers can request a 32” LCD television. Music lovers can get a stereo upgrade, which comes with kicker marine speakers and an LCD touch screen.

You’ll have to walk up a couple steps to get to your Master Bedroom. Although two small steps may seem insignificant, this slight elevation in your bedroom provides you with privacy. Small in size, the bedroom contains ample storage space – under the bed and inside two wardrobes located at both ends of the bed. When you’re ready to recharge for another day of adventure, collapse onto your queen-sized mattress. Your friends, guests, or children can sleep in their own room, located on the opposite end of the trailer. With two 54” sleeper sofas and a queen bed, the room can comfortably accommodate four to five people.

As you might expect, the bathroom is on the small size. It features a resort shower with tri-slide and a bench seat. The porcelain toilet has foot flush. If you’re picky about bathrooms, you can request a neo angle shower enclosure. Although, we doubt that Amped enthusiasts will be picky about fancy bathrooms.

Instead, they might want to invest in the Amps’ exterior. Those who love being outdoors will want the ramp patio and the detachable outside grill. The outdoor kitchen might motivate lazy cooks to fry an egg or make a hot dog. If you like outdoor parties, you might want to request an outside 32” LED TV and an exterior radio entertainment package. The options are endless.
