Heartland’s Pioneer line offers something for everyone, whether you’re travelling solo or with your family. With a long-standing history of mobile living, the Heartland Pioneer is a reliable companion on and off the road.

The Heartland Pioneer comes in 10 floorplans, but we’ve decided to explore the PIDS 310. The PIDS 310 has a gross vehicle weight rating of 9,000 lbs, dry weight of 7,688 lbs and hitch weight of 810 lbs. For measurements, its width is 8’0”, height is 11’2” and length is 35’4”. For liquids, the Pioneer PIDS 310 has a fresh water capacity of 41 gallons, gray water capacity of 51 gallons and black water capacity of 35 gallons. Equipped with two slides and a bunk room, the PIDS 310 can sleep seven people comfortably.

Built on a cambered structural steel I-beam frame, the Pioneer features R-7 rated fiberglass insulated sidewalls, roof and floor. Its radius profile is aerodynamic and its one-piece seamless rubber roof is safe to walk on. A finished pass-through storage compartment makes it easy to store large and cumbersome objects. Pioneer’s radial tires come with steel rims, and rain guttering comes with extra long drip sprouts. If you and your family love to spend time outdoors, you’ll be thankful for the exterior kitchen, equipped with a sink and large countertops. When you’re ready to walk inside, just pull the extra large entry grab handle, and let yourself in.

When you walk in, you immediately feel at home. Warm cabinetry and residential furniture create a relaxing atmosphere, allowing you to unwind after a day on the trails. The entertainment center features Cable TV hook-up with RG6 coax cabling and crank-up TV antenna with a signal booster. The AM/FM/MP3/CD/DVD system comes with indoor and outdoor speakers, allowing you to enjoy your favorite shows where you want. The convertible sleeper sofa sits provides a great view of the television, while the overhead cabinetry provides you with ample space to store your things. If you’re travelling with your family, you’ll be happy to know that the comfortable dinette is also a great seating option, providing an excellent view of the entertainment center. The designer light that hangs over the dinette adds modern style to the space.

Your family will be very excited about Pioneer’s residential kitchen. Equipped with a microwave and three-burner cooktop, you can decide between whipping up a fancy meal or reheating yesterday’s leftovers. The kitchen features a double-door refrigerator with a freezer and range hood with a light and exhaust fan. Drawers are equipped with ball bearing drawer guides and cabinetry comes with stainless steel knobs and pulls. With ample counter space to chop and prep, there’s no excuse for a fast food drive through.

Pioneer’s bathroom is small, but it does the job. Equipped with a tub, toilet and sink, you have everything you need to make your trips comfortable. The designer shower curtain provides privacy, while the medicine cabinet provides storage space. There’s also a towel ring and bathroom vent – it’s nothing fancy, but it’s all you need from a bathroom.

When you’re ready to recharge, head over to the Master Suite. The Queen Bed features a comfortable innerspring mattress, providing you with a good night’s sleep. You can hang your clothes in the shirt wardrobe or fold them nicely in the deep overhead storage cabinet above the bed. If you like falling asleep to the television, you’ll be thankful for the TV hookup across from the bed. With electric outlets on both sides of the bed, you can also plug in your phone and do some Internet surfing before dozing off. Family or guests can sleep on the bunk, sofa and even the dinette.
