2016 Newmar Ventana LE 3725 Review
As Newmar‘s most affordable diesel coach, the Ventana LE gives you bang for your buck.
With eight floorplans to choose from, we decided to explore the 2016 Ventana LE 3725. It has an overall length of 37’08”, overall height of 12’10”, interior height of 84” and interior width of 95.5”. Its front gross axle weight rating is 12,000 lbs and rear gross axle weight rating is 20,000 lbs. For liquids, the Ventana LE has a grey water tank capacity of 65 gallons, sewage tank capacity of 45 gallons, water tank capacity of 105 gallons and propane tank capacity of 32 gallons.
Powered by a Cummins ISB diesel engine, the Ventana LE features Newmar’s STAR Foundation, which supports a Freightliner chassis. To make fueling up as convenient as possible, Ventana’s recessed fuel fills are equipped with crossover, which means you can fill up your tank from whichever side you prefer. If you ever decide to take a walk on the roof, you will feel safe knowing that the BriteTEK roof has a walkable decking. Comfortable for both the driver and passenger, the front seats are equipped with six-way power technology. To maximize efficiency, the passenger’s seat comes with a built-in workstation. The most impressive feature is the tilt wheel, which is equipped with Newmar’s Comfort Drive technology. This allows the driver to make smooth and easy turns. To keep your travelers entertained, the dash features an AM/FM/CD radio, along with a monitor screen that displays images caught by the color rear-view cameras.
From an interior designer’s perspective, the Newmar Ventana might be considered a work of art. Customers get three gorgeous wood choices – Astoria Glazed Maple, Sienna Glazed Maple and Empire Glazed Maple. Cabinets have concealed hinges and the drawers have full extension guides. With decorative wall art, pleated shades, fancy lambrequins and padded vinyl ceilings, you’ll feel like you’re living in the pages of an interior design magazine.
Long trips require good entertainment and the Newmar Ventana exceeds all expectations. Dash radios are tuned into eight JBL speakers, which means you get excellent sound quality in the cockpit. LED TVs and DVD players are found in both the living room and bedroom. To make your entertainment experience that much more entertaining, you can request a Sony Surround System with a subwoofer and high definition component wiring with a Blu-ray/DVD Player. In the living room, the jackknife sofa sits across from the TV, making it possible to kick back and catch up on evening news.

An apartment-sized kitchen means you can save money by comfortably eating in. It comes with a 30” over-the-range microwave and recessed three-burner range with an oven. The Norcold 10-cubic-foot refrigerator comes with a black panel front. If you want something bigger and better, request a Norcold four-door refrigerator with icemaker. You can also request a 30” convection oven with a three-burner cooktop. The large pantry comes with a dry erase message board, perfect for writing down grocery lists.
Let’s move on to the bathroom. Equipped with two overhead compartments and a linen closet, you won’t run out of space for your toiletries. Bathroom features include a Domestic 321 China bowl stool and a fiberglass shower with a glass door. The vinyl tiles are easy to mop up and the mini blinds give you privacy. If there’s a line up for the shower, you can always ask your least favourite family member to use the exterior shower.

Last but not least is the bedroom. Equipped with wardrobe, two overhead compartments and a dresser, storage space is ample. You have to decide between getting a washer/dryer or a second wardrobe, which could be one of the toughest decisions of your life. The Queen bed sits across from the TV, which means you can watch your favorite show before recharging for another day on the road.
