In the Terry Classic travel trailer, Heartland RV takes the aesthetic appeal of vintage travel trailers and combines it with the advantages of modern, lightweight construction and features.

There are two Terry Classic floorplans to choose from and the TE V21 is the slightly smaller of the two. It has a gross vehicle weight rating of 5150 lbs, a dry weight of 4280 lbs, and a hitch weight of 780 lbs. It can carry 41 gallons of fresh water, 44 gallons of gray water, and 27 gallons of black water. It’s just under 22’ long.

The trailer has a power tongue jack and four crank-down stabilizer jacks. There’s an outside shower with hot and cold water, and the water heater is both gas and electric so you can take advantage of campsite power.

A shiny, textured metallic finish with a red accent color gives the trailer its vintage look. It has a full-width wraparound windshield and frameless windows. The LED-lit pass-through storage compartment has baggage doors with magnetic stays so there are not latches to fuss with.

A power awning covers the entry door and all the way to the back of the trailer to give you lots of covered outdoor living space. There’s cable hook-up on each side of the trailer so that you can hook up your own television on the campsite side if you wish, as well as two outdoor speakers.

Inside the trailer, the retro vibe continues and you’ll also find a unique layout unlike other travel trailers. The control panel is right inside the door so it’s easy to access as soon as you go in. LED lighting throughout is a thoroughly modern touch, and the accent lighting offers some really nice mood options for changing the mood.

At the front on the unit, there’s a full-width U-shaped dinette bench right under that nice big windshield. It gives you enough seating for a small crowd and also converts into a bed for two adults.

Facing the dinette, the entertainment center has a 32” LED television, built-in CD/DVD/AM/FM radio with Bluetooth with storage cabinets below and above.

In the kitchen area, the appliances are stainless steel. The six-cubic-foot refrigerator and freezer is low to the floor instead of being raised, giving you space for a shelf on top which is essentially added countertop space for your small appliances or whatever else you’d like to have handy on a regular basis. In your food prep area, there’s a residential microwave, hooded vent fan and light over the two-burner flush-mount cooktop, and a small oven. When not using the sink and pull-out faucet, the solid-surface countertop area is increased with the sink cover.

Heading towards the back of the trailer, the vanity and mirrored medicine cabinet is actually outside the bathroom, which means that even if the bathroom is occupied, others can still use the sink and mirror. A built-in toothbrush and soap dish keeps those things off the counter. Inside the bathroom, there’s a corner shower with a wraparound curtain.

The bedroom features a queen-bed with a tilt function so that, with the touch of a button, you can angle the top half of the bed up for a more comfortable lounging position. There’s space on the wall at the foot of the bed to mount a television. The storage in the bedroom area is ample, with cabinets running all the way across the top, a wardrobe for hanging items, and plenty of drawers. Windows on each side of the bed provide a nice cross-breeze for a comfortable sleep.

The Heartland Terry Classic TE V21 starts at about $22,000. For more information, visit http://www.heartlandrvs.com/.
