2018 Pleasure-Way Lexor TS Review

The 2018 Pleasure-Way Lexor TS packs everything weekend adventurers need to feel at home on the road into a sleek, luxurious feeling package that comes in at under 21’ long.

The 2018 Pleasure-Way Lexor TS has a gross vehicle weight rating of 9350 lbs and a towing capacity of 2150 lbs. It measures 9’ 3.5” high, 7’ wide, and comes in just shy of 21’ bumper to bumper. It has a 29-gallon capacity for fresh water, 20 gallons for gray water, and 12 gallons for black water.

A Dodge Ram ProMaster chassis is at the heart of the Lexor-TS, which is powered by a 3.6L V6 Pentastar engine. There’s a power awning with LED light strip and a sensor that will know to shut the awning when the winds pick up.

Inside, two 7” touch screen control panels –one near the door and the other further back in the motorhome – allow you to, among other things, check tank levels and control temperature and lighting.

Telescopic steering wheel, power windows, locks, and mirrors, in-dash navigation and audio, and rearview camera system make for a comfortable and relaxed driving experience. Both the driver and passenger seat swivel around to face the living area, adding extra seating during down time.

Keeping the space from feeling confined, a mesh screen option lets you keep the entire passenger side door open without letting bugs in. The screen fastens to the vehicle frame with magnets so it opens easily and snaps back into place on its own. You also have the option of adding a screen to the rear so you can keep the back doors open as well, either for air or to access storage space.

Behind the driver’s seat, there’s a wardrobe/shirt closet as well as two deep, full-extension drawers. Directly past that, there’s the comfortably sized enclosed wet bath. It has a porcelain pedal flush toilet, vanity with storage, Corian countertop with a stainless steel sink, and a mirrored medicine cabinet above. A window adds light, air flow, and helps to make the space feel more open.

The kitchen in the Lexor TS is on the motorhome’s passenger side, which means that you can look out over your campsite while preparing food via the open door or the large window above the countertop. This layout is also a plus while driving because it provides an unobstructed view out the passenger side of the vehicle.

Move into the kitchen and the countertop itself is Corian and a good size for a Class B, complete with a sink cover for the large stainless steel sink with high rise faucet. Kitchen amenities include a three-way five-cubic-foot refrigerator, a two-burner propane stove with a flush-mount top for even more surface space and, below that, a microwave/convection oven that can do everything from defrosting a bagel, reheating leftovers, or baking a cake. The full-extension drawers have a quiet soft-close feature, which is definitely a bonus at night if someone is sleeping.

The living and entertainment area is at the rear of the motorhome. Thanks to full windows all the way around, the space feels open and airy. The two side windows open up awning-style so that you can get some fresh air without worrying about rain getting in. Roller shades tuck up neatly out of the way behind hardwood maple valances. The simple, pattern-free décor and ultra-leather upholstery also helps to keep the space feel light and uncluttered and overhead solid maple cabinetry provides ample storage to keep your things tidy and out of the way.

A 24# LED LCD television is mounted on a swing-out arm to make it viewable from several angles. It comes with cable hook-up and the digital TV antenna with booster automatically locates the best signal. There’s also a Blu-ray player.

As for seating, a power sofa along the rear has two seat belts and two single seats facing each other. The sofa converts into two single beds by butting up against the single seats, or into a comfortable, memory foam Queen bed by filling in the space between the seats. A pedestal table fits between the two singles and can rotate so that it can also be used by people sitting along the sofa at the back.
