The 2018 Winnebago Navion is a sleekly designed, diesel-fueled motorhome that makes great use of space. Four floorplans are available, each of which has one or two slides and a unique sleeping/bedroom layout. The Winnebago Navion 24D stands out from other Class C motorhomes by having a full sofa, walk-around queen bed, and also a full-size dinette.

The 2018 Winnebago Navion 24D It has a gross vehicle weight rating of 11,030 lbs and a gross combined weight rating of 15, 250 lbs. It measures 25’8” 11’1” high, and 7’6” wide. It can carry 30 gallons of fresh water, 34 gallons of gray water, and 40 gallons of black water. The propane tank has a capacity of 13 gallons.

Both the chassis and engine are built by Mercedes-Benz. Layers of fiberglass and high-density block foam insulation on a welded aluminum support structure make it lightweight and durable.

Inside, the Winnebago Navion is sleek and stylish, with two sophisticated décor options to pick from. One long super slide houses both the sofa and the dinette booth, keeping the center of the motorhome open.

The cab area is set up to keep the driver – and passenger – feeling in control, comfortable, and safe. Both seats can be customized to suit your needs with arm and headrests, adjustable lumbar support, recline, and slide functions. The radio and rearview monitor system has a 6.2” color touch-screen, remote, iPod/MP# input, rear color camera, Bluetooth, Spotify, and is SiriusXM ready. The power side view mirrors have defrost and turn signals, and the power steering wheel has a tilt option. A cabover bunk sleeps two, just in case the kids want to have sleepover guests. Both driver and passenger seats swivel around to face the living space, giving you additional seating when it’s time to kick back and relax.

In the galley, there’s a truly impressive amount of counter space for a motorhome, and the two-burner range top has a flush-mount glass cover to give you even more surface area. You’ll also find everything else you need to whip up meals for family and friends: a microwave/convection oven and a mid-size double door refrigerator that runs off both propane and electric so you don’t need to drain your propane supply when you have access to shore power. The double stainless steel sink – also with flush mount covers – has a high rise residential faucet with pull-down sprayer to make clean up easy. There’s storage aplenty in the full-height pantry with pull-out drawers to store all of your dry and canned goods.

Directly across from the galley is the dinette booth, which converts easily into sleeping space for two and the seats lift up to access roomy storage space underneath.

The sofa – with removable pedestal table in front – is right beside the dinette and has a good view of the 28” HDTV. However, it’s also easy to take in a show or a movie from the reclining cab seats as the television articulates easily to face the front of the motorhome.

One of the highlights of the Winnebago Navion 24D is the queen-size Murphy bed that flips down easily from behind the sofa. When flipped up, its stylish legs make it an appealing feature wall. When it’s bed time, it flips down easily with the touch of a button and, even when set up for sleep, there’s still walk-around space.

The bathroom is at the back of the motorhome and separates from the rest of the space with a sliding door. Inside, there’s a shower with a flexible showerhead and hand wand and a retractable self-cleaning shower screen. In addition to the mirrored vanity above the sink and the drawers underneath, there is also a wardrobe with rail to hang clothing.

The Winnebago Navion 24D starts at about $134,000. For more information, visit http://www.winnebagoind.com/.
