Winnebago pitches its Vista line of Class A gas motorhomes as feature rich RVs for the value-conscious consumer. There are six Vista floorplans available, all offering roomy interiors.


Of the Vista floor plans available, the 29VE brings a new optional outdoor kitchen to the mix. Additionally, with a full-wall slideout, seven seatbelts, sleeping space for six plus an optional loft bed and outdoor entertainment center, this Class A motorhome gives owners maximum living space and enjoyment, inside and out.


According to Winnebago, the Vista 29VE has a gross vehicle weight rating of 18,000 lbs and a gross combined weight rating of 23,000 lbs. It measure 30’3” long, 12’2” high, and 8’6” wide. The fresh water tank can hold 70 gallons, the gray water tank has a capacity of 61 gallons, and the black water tank holds up to 40 gallons.

Built on a Ford F53 chassis, the Vista has a three-valve Triton V10 engine and automatic hydraulic leveling jacks. It’s constructed with an extruded aluminum frame, welded aluminum support structures, then block foam insulation and fiberglass and a crowned one-piece fiberglass roof.

The Winnebago Vista 29VE’s available outdoor kitchen includes a portable stainless steel grill, refrigerator, and sink. You can also opt for an exterior entertainment center with an HDTV and speakers. Like all Vista models, the 29VE has a standard patio awning.


Inside, there’s a choice of four different fabric color palettes, all with honey cherry wood cabinet. Tinted windows come with blackout roller shades, and there are LED lights throughout the motorhome’s interior.

In the cab area, the LED screen is both a rearview monitor and a touchscreen control pad for the radio and your MP3 player. The passenger side has a stowaway work station for laptop use on the go and, when not on the road, both the driver and passenger seats swivel around to the living area to become reclining lounge chairs.

In the living area, a double sofa bed pulls out to sleep two. It’s adjacent to the dinette booth, which also converts into a bed for two at the end of the day. Above the shelf at the back bench of the dinette booth, the 40” HDTV is mounted so that it can be seen by from the swiveled driver/passenger seats as well as the sofa.


Beyond the dinette is the galley kitchen, which has everything you need to prepare breakfast and afternoon snacks, to full meals for a crowd. There’s a two-door refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, a three-burner range with an oven, and a stainless steel double sink. A decorative backsplash adds to the residential feel.


Heading towards the bedroom at the back of the Winnebago Vista 29VE, the bathroom is on the left. The shower has a flexible showerhead, textured glass door, and a skylight. There’s a foot pedal toilet and a powered roof vent to help cycle the moisture out.

The bedroom is separated from the living space by space-saving tandem sliding doors for privacy. It features a walk-around queen bed, plenty of wardrobe, cupboard, and drawer storage, and space for an optional HDTV.
