Good little camper
By Mark Stroud (I am an Owner) on Mar 27, 2013Honored to be the first. Where to start? Camper tows fine with my Ford Escape, all the lights work and nothing fell off. Set up is easy. After spending three nights with the wife, son and daughter in law, I can definately say this camper is small. We were crowded when inside. They have compensated ... for this by providing a nice awning and outside speakers for the radio (two inside, two outside oddly enough there is no way to play the radio through the outside speakers only, it was all four speakers or none). All appliances worked as designed, the refrigerator got so cold it was freezing the drinks we placed on the top shelf. The shower/bathroom is small and, with a 6 gallon water heater you gotta be quick. The water does reheat pretty quick. The 25 gal grey water tank seems to fill up quick, had to empty it once a day. Son said the bunk beds were comfortable. The convert-a-bed uses the cushions as a mattress..they are NOT comfortable and do NOT last long, they are already flattening out after only a couple of trips. Place an air mattress on top. We had a couple of days bad weather with a lot of rain..there was no leaks. The storage under the bunk beds is adequate for us. We backed the Escape up under the awning and used it for storing the grill, suitcases and dirty laundry. Overall it is a small camper designed for sleeping, plan on spending most of your time outside and you will find this camper adequate. It works for what it was designed to do. In addition to the outside speakers there is a 110 outlet on the outside, which is nice to set up an electric burner for cooking.Rating breakdown
