2011 Coleman CTU289RL @ 1,400 miles.
By Louie Lindenmayer (I am an Owner) on Jul 17, 2011Our point-of-view is based on boon-docking 50% of the time and have 1,400 miles at the time of this review. The trailer is currently back at Camping World for the second round of warranty fixes. First off, the top drawer was too short to put silverware in because if longer like the bottom drawer it ... would hit the sink drain pipe. I built a new full-length drawer with a 1/2" notch to clear the pipe. Several valences around the windows were coming apart and the screws were stripped out of the walls. The toilet was cock-eyed so the seat wouldn't stay up. The shower stall leaked water down the center of the trailer. The 110v AC inflatable mattress won't stay inflated but without an inverter, is useless boon-docking. There is no 12v outlet for an aux. pump. It tows very well behind my Dodge diesel - the axles are a little farther apart. The blonde oak and lots of windows are delightfully well lit inside. The entertainment system and all electrics work well. Even though the propane bottles are smaller, insulation seems efficient. A/C design works very well to cool the trailer. Corner stabilizers seem flimsy, do not turn smooth so drill-driver works hard - future upgrade. Have not used outdoor stove/sink yet except to squirt the kids and wash petrified wood. Compartment covers seal well. We had a slide awning & black tank spray bar installed before taking possession. I like the trailer but I'm not the cook. My wife doesn't like the trailer because of the kitchen layout. We had been watching Coleman for years waiting for a bigger trailer and bought this sight-unseen based on available web pictures and the Coleman name but like Microsoft products, I shouldn't have bought version 1.0Rating breakdown
