Biggest piece of crap
By Very unhappy customer (I am an Owner) on Feb 16, 2021My husband and I bought this camper brand new. Right off the bat stuff started to fall apart. Grey tank was not attached which made the under belly come apart. Had to get a new door furnace fan had to be replaced. Microwave stopped working. Island light still lord working. Shower leaks. Our mega slide ... leaks. And the biggest problem now Is the whole entire camping walls are delaminating. I could go on. It has been in for Warranty every year since we have owned it. It is the biggest piece of shit. Do not by any Kodiak camper. Dutchman is the worst company to deal with they do not care about you and they don’t care that the quality of their campers are crap. I have been fighting with them for a long time and they do not care. I payed a lot of money for a shitty camper and now I am stuck with it. Not happy at all.Rating breakdown

DO NOT PURCHASE DUTCHMAN/KEYSTONE
By Katie (I am an Owner) on May 05, 2014My husband and I purchased what we assumed was a brand new full functioning 2014 Kodiak 300BHSL travel trailer from Blue dog RV, located in Post falls, ID, on January 25, 2014. The afternoon of January 26, 2014, once getting it to our storage location in Cle Elum, Wa, our main living room slide had ... stopped running half way out, and continued to read an error light pertaining to the mentioned slide. We contacted the dealership to notify them of the problem. They sent a gentleman from their Kennewick, Wa location out the next day to try and assess the problem. We were told a wiring harness had somehow been tangled in the motor and it cut the wiring. The dealership ordered new parts and was back out to do the repairs. The technician returned to do the proper repairs, only to have the slide quit working on us the same day. We once again, notified the dealership that the repair work had not done the job, and that the slide was still not working. They then agreed to come and pick up the trailer and transport it to their shop to be assessed at a deeper level. This did take some time as the trailer had been locked in by a winter storm, and we were not able to move it until the snow pack melted. The dealership, once in possession of the rv, in late March, had taken it apart, and sent photos to the manufacture of the slide itself. The manufacture for the slide had then replied that we were looking at a manufacture defect, whereas the cutout for that particular slide had not been properly sized and cut. The technician that has been working on the slide from day one stated that the manufacturer of the slide out itself informed them that the hole for the slide needed to be cut ¾ of an inch larger. Dutchman, did not want to participate in such a costly repair, and sent two technicians from their Pendleton, Or Keystone location to oversee the repair and explain what Dutchman was willing to pay for to have done. These technicians requested that the dealership simply move the trim and replace the seals. The technician, from Blue dog RV in Kennewick, Wa said this kind of repair will only fix the problem temporarily, and is not up to manufacturer specifications. While the two technicians from the Pendleton, Or location were in Kennewick explaining how Dutchman wanted to do the repairs, they had stated to the Blue dog Rv employees, that currently at their location in Oregon, There are 20 units that are the same floor plan, model and year as ours that they have purchased back from consumers for the same problem pertaining to ours. The Post Falls, ID location for Blue dog Rv, also has another unit, same model and year as ours that is experiencing the same slide out manufacture defect. After contacting the Keystone/Dutchman customer service, I have been patiently trying to work with a gentleman by the name of Steven Holmes, who has stated that, Dutchman will only be willing to replace a piece of trim and the joining seals, and they are not interested in purchasing it back what so ever. The fix they want to do, according to the slide manufacture, will not do the job correctly. Both my husband and I have felt as though we are victims of a very expensive scam/Fraudulent practice, in that, Dutchman/Keystone are selling these units knowing they have manufacture defects, and instead of recalling and properly fixing them, they place a metaphorical band aide over the problem knowing it will not permanently fix the problem. We are simply trying to get help before we are further stuck with a defective travel trailer.Rating breakdown
