12 years of fun and still going
By Dano Reynolds (I am an Owner) on Nov 10, 2021Mine is a 2010 but that isn't an option in the review. I've owned travel trailers for over 40 years and this is the best I've ever found. It's lightweight but solid. There is no structural wood anywhere in this travel trailer. The only wood is in the interior cabinets and trim. The walls are made ... by injecting foam into the "sandwich" of the inner and outer skin. Once you've had TTs as long as I have, you know that at some point it will leak. in previous TTs, that leak caused extensive damage. in our 31DS, we closed the slide in a downpour without checking the top for debris and trapped a branch in the slide seal. when we arrived at our next destination, there was water on the floor. we mopped it up and went about our trip. no damage. we then added a slide topper and issue solved. Pros: - No structural wood - Lightweight - good layout for kids and grandkids - Swivel TV for the master bed and turns around for viewing. - True gelcoat finish, can buff it out to restore shine. - Very easy to heat and cool with the foam sides. Cons: - The no wood roof is louder in rainstorms - The gelcoat faded in our strong Florida sun. After buffing it out, I now use a cheap cover to keep the sun from further damage. - The white stripes faded quickly and are unsightly.Rating breakdown

Everlite 31DS 9 years of great camping!
By mark childers (I am an Owner) on Jul 31, 2019We bought one of the very first off of the line. It was actually titled as a 2010 model and we picked it up in September of 2009. After the always present initial bugs to work out like hot and cold water reversed, sink drain cross threaded and electric jack malfunction, we have really never had a ... problem. The only really significant change that we would make is with the roof. This particular year and model had a solid "Compositek" roof with a sheet of white TPO Roof material rolled over it front to back. There is no buffer material between the roof cover material and the actual roof. When it rains, the noise is absolutely DEAFENING! That said, we have absolutely LOVED this camper. It is AMAZING light at 5200lbs. dry. We pull it with a 1500 series Dodge Ram with a .392 rear axle and never no its behind us. We have over 400 nights on the road since our purchase and would absolutely recommend this brand. There is NO wood in the entire vehicle except in the cabinets and interior trim so if there is ever a leak, you just fix it and keep going. No floor rot EVER because the floor is composite and not wood. Also, the finish still looks as new as the day we bought it. (although we do keep it under an rv cover) There is just a little wear and fading on the front endcap but I recently got that back to slick and shiny with some McGuire's rubbing compound. It's very sad that a camper with this level of durability is no longer made. NO one else makes anything even close anymore.Rating breakdown
