Problems
By Joan Loschiavo (I am an Owner) on Mar 10, 2017We purchased the Bounder in June 2015. We have had a lot of problems. First the Back up camera went out. Then we had a hose burst on the jacks. Then we had electrical problems. They had to replace all the batteries. The multiplex electrical system started having problems. Also had trouble with ... the lights. 28 of the 36 lightbulbs went out. They replaced all of them. This was due to a known problem with the light bulbs themselves. After rewiring several places they had to replace the multiplex system. Then we started having trouble with the freestanding awning. After replacing it 2 times they decided to change it to a more tried and true awning. As they were doing that they discovered the bathroom door had a crack in it. They replaced the bathroom door. We had continued to have a short in the dash, They found that a ground wire was needed behind the radio. This short had made the radio, backup camera and jack control go out. This was finally discovered after having the RV for 21 months. Thought we were done with problems when the mirrored closet door in the bedroom cracked and fell in the bedroom as we drove up the freeway. Fortunately for us we live only about 100 miles from the factory service center in Coberg, Oregon and could go there for repairs. We have had the RV for close to 21 months and have not been on a trip without something going wrong. Even though we have had all these problems we love the coach and enjoy using it. The service center has been excellent and we like the layout of the coach. Fleetwood has been good to fix things but unfortunately we have run out of warranty that they extended for us, so the door will be on us. don't know that I would buy another Fleetwood. Had much better luck with Winnebago that we had for 7 years with no problems.Rating breakdown
