2017 Georgetown 364ts Review after two years and 21,000 miles
By Dennis King (I am an Owner)I love this coach. The size and amenities are great and go above and beyond my expectations. The support from Forest River is amazing. They go above and beyond to make people happy. RVs are not pieces of art with no imperfections even though they look like it! They are meant to be driven and used! I ... have been all over the USA in mine and am so happy! It has two full baths 5 TVs 3 slides and is 37 1/2 feet long. I chose the gas engine because of the maintenance costs on the new Diesel engines. The revised V10 Engine is a super Workhorse and starting in 2016 the 6 speed transmission really lowered the engine sound. I hardly ever go over 2500 rpms. The parts used by Forest River last a long time and are easy to work on and replace when they go bad. Forest River has been building the Georgetown for many many years. They have improved it so many times that I don’t know what else they could do that I would like better. Sure I can spend $100,000 more for an RV but I truly believe $ for $ I could not get anything better. It has the big one piece windshield the dual shades on all the windows. Beautiful cabinetry and doors and solid surface counters and a tile backsplash. A stainless two bowl kitchen sink with Commercial grade flexible faucet my wife loves. A stainless Convection Microwave and a gas cooktop three burner range and a gas oven. No carpet to hold sand or dirt or sand fleas. The flooring is LVT and looks like wood you have in your home. It has two 6 gallon water heaters that run on gas or electric or both at the same time. This is especially helpful if one goes bad in the middle of nowhere. One is sufficient until you get the other fixed. If you like long hot steamy showers you can run both gas and electric at same time for faster water recovery in shower until the other is repaired. But they last a long time if maintained properly. It has a washer/dryer combination and we use it a lot! So much nicer than hauling all clothes to a laundromat where who knows what was put in before you got there! A King size bed and two bunk beds and a drop down bed over the cab and the dinette makes into a double bed also as well as the two recliners that make into a queen bed. You can sleep 9 people or more if you wanted. The cockpit area has large monitor screen for viewing the three cameras sides and rear. It has the large heated remote controlled mirrors. Dual pane windows. A passenger work station. Outdoor entertainment area and stereo with DVD players and TVs in the bunk beds. There is stereo and DVD,USB, Bluetooth, Weatherband Radio and stereo with subwoofer. There are also 3 controllable audio zones available. It has three large slides for a huge living space. You can access the middle bath going down the road. It has the leveling jack system automatic or manual. It comes with 22.5 inch tires and it has aluminum wheels! Get this there is a 22.5 cubic foot stainless refrigerator also which means you can go a long long time without having to go to store for supplies. There is a ton of outdoor storage underneath in the side hinged slam latch lockable doors with 2 or 3 pass thru storage compartments. The storage units are Roto cast material with a drain so you can keep then clean if any spills happen. It also has the propane quick connect on the awning side of the rv for grilling on your favorite grill. No more lugging propane bottles around. The quality features go on and on! There is Diamond Shield cover on the front cab to prevent scratches and dings from the road on the solid front end fiberglass front. It also has fiberglass rear cap and a fiberglass roof. The 12 foot awning is awesome and built with quality to last. The brackets that support it are substantial and automatic! Just push a button to put it out or bring it in or turn on the LED lighting under the awning. There are also slide out awning covers to keep debris off your slides. Also the main slide has a metal cover that wraps around the awning when it is pulled in and this keeps it away from rain wind and sun damage. I also have the full body paint makes it look like the day it was new with the car finish. So you have no fading or decals to peel or fade. There is a 1250 watt converter charger that keeps your refrigerator charged and the house batteries of which there are 4 normal marine batteries that are cheap to replace and last a long time.Forest River has updated some electronics in 2020 as far as remote control devices but they have kept the solid foundation of quality and simplicity in design and engineering. This way you can keep a well maintained coach for a long time with low maintenance costs. That reminds me of something else! There are two 42 gallon black water holding tanks and two gray water holding tanks and a 50 gallon freshwater tank with a built in water purification system and filter in the water bay! There is also an outside shower hose great for washing all sand and cleaning up equipment. Also don’t forget the Cummings/Onan 5500 Generator which will run the whole coach when you are boondocking or want to be off the grid! The large propane tank runs your two gas furnaces that have electric heat strips also. Plus you have two large AC units and a Max Air exhaust fan in the kitchen area. Another feature is the King jack antenna and the coach is ready with cable and satellite hookups already built in. I sell real estate for a living for 37 years I see things go wrong with sticks and bricks houses all the time and they never move. It still amazes me how I move this 22-26000 pound beast down the road and it doesn’t fall apart! Warren Buffet bought Forest River because he knew a good thing when he saw it!
