Pretty happy with my 2015 Avalanche 355RK
By Kevin and Lori Rucker (I am an Owner)We bought our RV brand new off the lot from a dealer in Indiana (Modern Trailer Sales, Inc.) We've been pretty happy with our camper. We've had a few issues but that comes with wear and tear of using it from Spring to end of Fall. If I had to change anything it would be to lower the cabinets and Microwave ... in the kitchen. (I have to use a step stool to get anything from the cabinets and I'm 5'7) The location of the kitchen light above the sink is in a bad spot. It should be in the cornerback. (It blinds you when doing dishes. Hate it!) The table and chairs are so tight that 4 people can not fit. We took 2 of the chairs out and its still tight. When moving the recliners to get a better view of the TV they put dents in our flooring. The door to the RV is always sticking and hard to pull open. I do like the fireplace and size of my bathroom. The only complaint is I've had to replace the shower brackets that hold the hose in place. Screws keep pulling out. The shower door handle keeps coming unscrewed. I don't feel we gave too much money for the RV and plan to keep it for another few years. If we take care of it.. it should last. Just a FYI - Not impressed with the Warranty Forever Maintenance. Too many restrictions when it comes to what they will pay for. Its also $150 a year. Its not free.Read More -
Poor Quality with Many Issues
By Lynda Pfeiffer (I am an Owner)We bought our 2015 Avalanche 355rk because we love the rear kitchen floor plan. Our last 5th wheel was a rear kitchen by another manufacturer. We have had nothing but issues with this 5th wheel. Most due to poor quality and poor quality control. Floor in living room was scratched due to screw sticking ... down in slide. Plastic bins in fridge broke or cracked due to it being in the back and the bouncing. Shelves in kitchen broke. The chairs at the table by the wall are so close to the wall maybe a 5 yr old child could fit. Air conditioner has been in twice to be repaired still not working. Couch is uncomfortable. Ladder outside is pulling away from back. Bed was not fastened properly to wall and slid away pulling on electrical. These are just a few of the numerous issues we have had. Be cautious when purchasing a Keystone product. We will never by another Keystone.Read More
