2013 LT308BHS Review
By PK (I am an Owner) on Feb 27, 2013We purchased our 308BHS a month ago. First impressions... Exterior: Good looking TT. Very long. The 308 is the interior square feet, not length. It is 36 ft long. Easy to tow with out Tundra. Tracks straight with dual wheels. It backs very well and is responsive. No bumper to place a bike rack. Two ... Gray water tank has two drains and is awkward to reach between the dual tires, but is accessible. You need to park the TT so you can access both tanks and still reach the sewer connection, or you will need an extra long sewer hose. Battery should have a shut off switch. Battery is outside at the front. Good support struts with a locking nut for stability. Exterior hose hookups with hot water for a shower hose. The compartment should have a drain system for standing water and they should separate the water hook up and other cable and exterior elect outlet. The exterior kitchen is very nice with a large door that acts as a shade from sun and rain. Ample sink, but I have no idea why it drains to the ground. Ample size refrig. outside, but not hooked up to gas (needs elect). Good roof, and skylights, gutter system and elect. sun shade is very nice. The slides are smooth and easy to oper. Inside: Wow... very nice looking decor. The wood, the floors and furniture is nice and reminds me of a home kitchen. The double wide pull outs really open the kitchen and the two portable tables proves ample seating and eating space. We keep one table set up and move the other under the TV and move t around when we need it. The refrig is small, but works great...very cold. The stove and oven is small, but works well. The island with the sink really opens the kitchen and provides a central point to converse and not be in the way of others. A nice area for all sorts of storage of kitchen supplies. The woodwork looks good. Mstrbdrm. Nice size room, but you need to keep stuff off the floor amd use under bed and cabinet storage. Comfortable mattress. The TV antenna switch is on the ceiling and emits a bright blue light when on and is annoying. You can place a piece of tape over it, but a bad install location. Bath. Nice, ample and functional. Quick hot water. Small but ample shower. Adequate storage for small stuff. No room for towels... just use a hook on the door. The bunk room is nice with a slide out. A neat little love seat that folds out is comfortable, but cannot be removed. The fold down bunk is narrow as is the other small bunk, but fits kids fine. The second level bunk on the right is large. The mattresses are thin. A nice little closet is provided. The back wall has a mount for a TV and makes for a nice gaming area. A door separates the living area from the bunk room. This keeps the noise from the kids down and allows privacy. The heater works well, but is very hot in the bunk room and cooler up front. Not well balanced. You should keep all of the interior doors open to help balance the air. We had cold weather in the low 30s'and it worked well. A/C... don't know yet. All the vents work well and vents well in the kitchen and bath. the motors are a little noisy. The DC water pump is also a litle loud when running. Plenty of AC outlets. Sound system inside and outside is very good. It is enjoyable watching TV, with plenty of room on the 12 foot long couch. Good interior and exterior lighting. You will need a 30 amp plug for the 50 amp cord. Overall, a very nice, roomy setup. Very comfortable. A little heavy at 8400 lbs dry, but a very easy pull. I also like that when the slides are closed, the bunk room and the mstr bedroom is secure, so you can keep more valuable items in the rooms when away if you disconnect the battery while being stored.Rating breakdown
