Don't buy this RV
By Laura Livingston (I am an Enthusiast) on Oct 10, 2017My husband and I rented a RoadTrek Simplicity for 2 weeks. Within 4 days we found 35 flaws in the overall design of the rig. The best thing about it was the refrigerator! The inverter was a pain to use because we were always turn it on and off and the switch was difficult to reach from the passenger ... seat. And we couldn't even go all night dry camping without starting the engine. It is nearly impossible for the passenger and driver seat to be used with the tiny table set-up. My husband is small and could not even get in or out of this "dinette" set-up. The bathroom is so small the door has to be open to use. The water tank is very difficult to fill and is in the drivers door. The shoreline and water line hook-ups are located under the rear bumper and you have to get on your hands and knees to attach AND because the units hang below the bumper, they can be knocked off by going in and out of a steep driveway. The dirty, wet hose and power cord do not have its own storage place so it ends up in the back, under the lounger/bed and needs to be cleaned before storing away. The idea that more than 2 people would ever want to use this type of vehicle is a joke and the floor plan is awful! Who needs a "lounge" area in the rear of the coach! and if the lounger is in the down position, the optional table can not be set up because the post hole is now under the bed. We could never get the gray water tank completely empty. It had no screen door and in order to open or close the rear curtains, you had to open the back doors. AND the privacy shades and screens were install in the wrong windows making it impossible to use them correctly (did anyone give this rig a final check?). We do have to say that from the knees forward (driving) we think it got very good gas mileage, handled well and was very easy to drive. But, if you needed to get out of the seat to get to the back, good luck! This whole rigs is poorly designed from the inside out and even if someone gave me one, I would sell it in a minute! DON'T BUY THIS RV!Rating breakdown

2017 Roadtrek Simplicity issues
By Tom M (I am an Owner) on Apr 10, 2017I just took delivery of our new Simplicity in February 2017. On the way home the grab handle above the passenger seat fell to the floor after hitting a bump - no bolts! The driver handle had only one bolt. Once home the RV began to leak antifreeze - discovered that the lower radiator hose clamp had ... not been tightened. Other issues - the LP gas regulator was bad from factory - the water pump failed after 2 weeks - the tankless water heater valves were in by-pass mode and when opened, the heat exchanger began to gush fluid everywhere. The RV is a great design and very compact & efficient, but the quality control is absolutely horrible - I watched a Roadtrek YouTube video about building their RV's and they brag about the many inpsections that these units go through - ours must have been built during a coffee break!Rating breakdown
