Quality is not what I expected from a Winnebago product
By Chuck Gerace (I am an Owner) on Jan 08, 2018I have had my Vista for just under three months, and I am not happy with the quality. First I had an electrical problem ( I take some responsibility since when the problem was inspected there was nothing wrong, but I bought new batteries anyway ), second major problem, the Ć¢ā¬ÅhoodĆ¢ā¬Ā hinge detached ... from the body, on the drivers side. I took it to start the warranty process and the shop service person asked if it the passenger side, I replied no it the driver side and said it usually the passenger. The report was made on the 28th of December but as of 5 January no response on the new super glue is coming in. On the 5th we found wet carpeting along the bed stand edge, so I looked under the support sub floor and found no water leakage source. Then I went to the bathroom sink took out the cabinet sides and floor and found water. Wiped it up, used a fan to help dry, caulked the sink to cabinet top to be sure no water leaked under the space (another quality defect in my mind). Later in the day returned to check for water and it wet again, looked under the faucets and a drop hit me. Tried to tighten the fittings but it still leaks. This will be reported when I take it in for the hinge repair. General appearance and minor quality issues, faux wood tape is pealing in three months time, the strikers for the range did not work had to have that fixed during the battery issue. The chassis AC did not work after delivery, (driving it home it was evident ) it was fixed. Not a happy camper with this Winnebago product.Rating breakdown

Problems with 2017 Vista VE
By Darlene Little (I am an Owner) on Jul 25, 2017We purchased our 2017 Vista VE in October of 2016. We only had a chance to use this rv once before we left for a trip to Alaska for the summer. We are very disappointed in this unit. The slide squeaks extremely loud when driving (very annoying) the water pump is extremely noisy and doesn't maintain ... water pressure when we are hooked up to water (our last rv had no squeaks and water pump was quiet. The slide doesn't seem to be square and there is only one place in Alaska that can fix this rv under warranty. We hope we can get it back to Idaho safely. One burner only lit twice automatically now have to use a lighter. The refigerator freezes everything because the freezer part doesn't freeze somethings unless unit is turned all the way up. There are several other problems that are minor so won't list them. We are very disappointed in this RV. I almost wish we hadn't traded in out last RV. We love the leveling system.Rating breakdown

Lots to Like
By Kent Herbert (I am an Owner) on Mar 15, 2017I bought my Winnebago 29VE last fall. The workmanship and quality of materials (particularly inside) is superior to other manufacturers in the 30 feet and under RV crowd. The things that impressed me the most about Winnebago is the use of the large single slideout that provides alot of extra space ... and gives an open feel to the interior. The cabinetry is first rate, and the height of the cupboards on the driver's side are low enough that they work well for my less than 5 foot wife. The use of storage space both inside and out is also quite effective. The new outside kitchen and 1000watt inverter included make this unit flexible and useful. The inclusion of MCD shades, auto-leveling, backup camera, tow package, and good storage make this a great package and probably the best buy in this size. However, for not much money (say $1,000 more), Winnebago could have beefed up the basement doors to match Fleetwood's Flair, as well as a black tank rinseout fitting and cover over the range that competitor's offer. A feature on the Winnebago LX not offered is the convenient gas and electric heating elements in the water heater. Overall, this is the superior product, but, I am puzzled why the quality leader in this class let itself get beat on a couple of small items.Rating breakdown
