Our cabin on wheels
By Steve Leonard (I am an Owner) on Jul 05, 2017Purchased our 30FWRES new in late 2013 and used first for our 4 month trip south to escape winter. Compared to the 30' class C motorhome that we loved for 5 years, this unit had so much more living space and a ton more carrying capacity. With the 3 slides, the huge kitchen, L-shpaed couch and second ... dinning table that pulls out of the end entertainment unit, we never felt cramped nor confined when we were stuck inside during inclement weather. We added a 100 watt solar panel and 2 6-volt batteries for extended dry camping. Although you can pull this unit with a 1/2 ton truck, we opted to purchase a 3/4 ton diesel and have absolutely no issue pulling up long steep grades in the mountains. This was a good balance of price vs features for us. The only quality or warranty issue has been the decal on the front end that started to peel off and the replacement is doing the same. All the other decals are fine.Rating breakdown

Great Expereience
By Gayle Dominick (I am an Owner) on Jan 06, 2017We have had the Winnebago Lite for over 3 years while 2 of those years were full time residents. We put a gooseneck hitch on it when we got it. As we had one in the pickup truck we had. It has been so good to us. No problems when so ever. Everything has worked like it was suppose to. We added a fireplace ... when we purchased it. We are so glad we did. It still has its new smell to it. I would recommend it to everyone.Rating breakdown

Very Disappointed
By Dr. Ken rawford (I am an Owner) on Feb 13, 2013I wanted this 5th wheeler to be great. I would like to give it a wonderful review. The floor plan is great. It is quite comfortable when not expecting the components to work. But, after owning it for a half year, I cannot give it a favorable rating. One thing after another has gone wrong. Trailers ... are a sum of the parts and only as good as the components integrated into the unit. We did not make it out of the dealer lot before the AC quit. The landing gear come down at an angle and I cannot get the dealer to fix such. The landing gear motor burndt out after five uses. That Atwood gas stove/oven does not come within 100 degree of of temp--is being replaced. The shower hose split upon first use. The satellite tv in-cable was hooked up to nothing and I had to install my own cable. The tires were the worst. Why would you put the cheapest possible tires on a 37K trailer. The right front tire sidewall blew-out at about 1000 miles and did $3400 in damage. Trail Express tires by Voma Tyre. Check Voma Tire out--nothing more than a PO box. Am replacing all five tires with less than 1500 miles. It took nearly a month for the repair parts to come from Winnebago and Atwood. We will keep the trailer and likely enjoy it, but only after having to partially rebuild the thing.Rating breakdown
