Prime Time Crusader Trailers Recalled

Forest River, Inc. has issued a recall for some 2015-17 Prime Time Crusader fifth wheels. The recall affects model CSF370BHQ, which was manufactured between August 26, 2014 and March 3, 2016. According to the NHTSA recall notice, 159 units are affected by the recall.
Fortunately for owners, the recall is very minor: the Federal Placard on the trailers indicated the cargo carrying capacity as 800-900 pounds, while it is actually 2700-2800 pounds.
Forest River will notify owners, and dealers will install a corrected Federal Placard, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin June 17, 2016. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-862-1025. Forest River’s number for this recall is 49-04172016-0178.
