Thor Motor Coach (TMC) has taken the covers off of its new 2016 Axis and Vegas Class A motorhomes.

Originally introduced in 2014, these Recreational Utility Vehicles (RUV) provide a fully-functional living environment including a kitchen, living room, bathroom, and sleeping areas in a 25-foot package.

A new 25.3 floorplan layout has been added to the lineup for 2016. A large driver’s side slide room allows for a walk around queen bed and closet space. The bathroom features a 32 x 32-inch shower. A living space in the front of the unit provides seating, entertaining and food preparation spaces.

The cockpits of the RUVs feature integrated side view cameras, back-up monitor, and passenger workstation in the front dash that can hold a laptop and charge it as well with 110-volt and 12-volt outlets nearby.

Above the cockpit seating, a power drop-down overhead bunk can be lowered with the touch of a button and features the brand new Cotton Cloud mattress. In the kitchen, the flip-up countertop provides extra space while cooking and the pantry pulls out.

TMC made substantial upgrades to this year’s Axis and Vegas RUV brands. New for 2016 is a Bluetooth coach radio system that connects to your smart phone or tablet. TMC’s RUVs also offer LED ceiling lighting to emit more light and cut the amount of power used from the house battery.

“We’re constantly working on new, refreshing features to enhance the lifestyle of owners,” says Troy Schultz, Central Region Sales Manager for the Class C & Class A Gas Division.
