From the first-time camper to the RV enthusiast, the 2012 Coachmen Catalina Deluxe Edition Travel Trailer has something to please just about everyone. Whether you’re using it for the weekend or for extended uses or for anytime in between, the Catalina Deluxe Edition will become your second home on the road.

There are 10 floorplans available to fit into your budget, but we’ll be taking a look around the 32 BHDS. One of the largest models in the series, the 32 BHDS has an exterior length of 35′ 10″, an exterior height of 11′ 1″ and an exterior width of 96″. It has a hitch weight of 1,065 lbs., a base weight of 7,643 lbs., a GVWR of 9,900 lbs. and a cargo carrying capacity of 2,257 lbs. For water, it has a fresh water capacity of 46 gallons, a gray water capacity of 40 gallons, a black water capacity of 40 gallons and a 6-gallon DSI gas/electric remote operated water heater.

Built on a cambered structural steel I-beam frame, the Catalina Deluxe Edition is durable and tough from the bottom up. It’s made using 5/8″ tongue and groove plywood floor decking, .024 aluminum siding and a one-piece, seamless, rubber roof. To keep you comfortable, this travel trailer has R-7 fiberglass insulation in the sidewalls, roof and floor. As well, this RV features a new fiberglass radius front end, along with polished aluminum fender skirts and E-coat rims

Making the side a smooth one, the 2012 Coachmen Catalina Deluxe Edition Travel Trailer comes equipped with radial tires and Superlube axles for fast and easy lubrication. Once you get to your destination, set up is easy, thanks to four stabilizer jacks, and with the LP Quick Connect, you can quickly and easily connect and disconnect any propane accessories.

If you love outdoor entertaining, you’ll want to add on the exterior camper kitchen. This galley comes with a high pressure outside grill, a turn table microwave, a 4.4-cubic-foot electric refrigerator, and a sink with a high rise faucet. Enjoy a morning coffee or an evening drink under the awning. Other exterior features include pass thru storage with lockable baggage doors , a swing arm grab handle at the main entry, G55 rated tinted black framed windows with safety glass, a smooth fiberglass radius entry door, an amber patio light with an inside switch, radius entry steps and molded rain guttering with drip spouts.

Inside the Catalina Deluxe Edition, you’re treated to a choice of Bazinga Stone, Desert Fern or Chipotle décor options, complemented by Cognac Maple cabinetry with a black accent trim. On the floor, there’s title-look linoleum that’s non-slip, easy to clean, cold crack resistant and comes with a three-year warranty. Other elements that add to this travel trailer’s style include valance and lambrequins window treatments, and night shades.

One of the great things about the 32 BHDS is all the sleeping arrangements provided. In the master bedroom, there’s a queen-sized bed that’s outfitted with a premium mattress, a quilted residential down comforter and a headboard. As well, the bed lifts easily on gas struts, so you can store essentials under it. If that’s not enough storage space for all your stuff, there are also two shirt wardrobes and overhead cabinets. On the other end of this travel trailer, there’s a loft bed and an optional flip up bunk bed that’s perfect for the kids.

The living area is ideal for hanging out and spending some quality family time together. Hang out on the jack knife convertible sofa with bolster cushions or share a meal around the U-shaped dinette. It even has custom built-in entertainment center that is cable ready and comes complete with audio inputs that tie in directly to the interior speakers, a flatscreen TV, and an AM/FM/CD/DVD/radio system with speakers and iPod docking port.

In the kitchen, there are a host of appliances to help keep you well fed on the road, such as a gas/electric double door refrigerator, a three-burner range with 9,000 BTU superburner and a microwave oven. For prep and clean up, the kitchen comes with thermofoil countertops, a Stonecast residential style extra deep 60/40 double bowl sink and a single lever pull-out sprayer faucet. While you’re eating, you can enjoy the view thanks to an easy-view extra-large picture window. Other kitchen amenities include a silverware drawer and a range hood with a light and exhaust fan.

The last stop on the tour is the Catalina Deluxe Edition’s bathroom. In here, you’ll find a tub, marine toilet with foot flush and a large sink. Rounding out the features in this room are a skylight above the bath, a shower curtain with a curved shower track, a medicine cabinet with a mirror, two towel rings and a toilet paper holder.
